The guy was saying that the reason why the HABS have so many giveaways and bad passes is because in an effort to break the forechecking they are ordered to avoid carrying the puck but rather move (pass or clear) it as quickly as possible.

If this is really the strategy it obviously doesn't work as we end up givin' it away and having to play more in our own zone.

Not only have there been too many give aways, but poor line changes have resulted in way too many quality scoring chances against.

The more I hear and see about our coaching staff, the more I think they are incompetents.


How anybody can play the trap with a small, skillish team is beyond me.
