After the Final round games I can honestly say that Eric Brewer has been Canada's best D-MAN, he hits he hits he hits and he hits. He has been steady as they come. On the other hand I think Al MacInnis should be benched for the rest of the tourney I could not beleive that at the end of the game versus the Czechs that Pat Quin put MacInnis on the Ice.
LET'S GO CANADA TONIGHT and let's hope Brewer keeps playing like he has!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm not sure about brewer being the best but you are bang on with macinnis being the worst. what a terrible pick, he should be benched, can't skate, hit or play good d, but he has a great shot and he's been around so he gets on the team.
jovo and pronger have looked good also.

IF the NHL comes back for 2006(tomorrow's game can help that matter),we will have the best defence in the world.Think of Pronger as the 'veteran' at the age of 31.Then,think of Wade Redden at the age of 28,Jovo at the age of 29,Brewer who will be 26,Morris who will be 27,Brad Stuart who will be 25 and probably Jay Bouwmeester as the 7th d-man who will be 22.Wow.Only worry is the lack or right-handed shots(only Morris would be a righty). But WOW!
