I haven't been able to get onto this website the past 4-5 days and all of a sudden today i'm back on it.  Looking at all the posts shows me that it wasn't ever down.  But rest assurred i checked habsrus.com everyday and came up 504 bad gateway???

You probably had the terrible HabsRusnotHere virus. It seems to affect people that have food in their nick name. The same problem happened to another poster named spaghetti and cheese.

But, you can avoid this problem by bookmarking this page and the front page (where you enter your password).

Then again I could be wrong and HabsRus was down for a few days. The HabsRus page transfers people to this server. They are connected but not the same.

After all this writing, now I am hungry.

I was having problems too until 2-3 days ago. I was not getting any error messages, but just couldn't get on. It would time-out. I ended up using another link that someone else posted on another board.

FYI, there is presently one of those links on McKeenhockey Rivals board put forth by CO for seventeen.

CO, maybe we could use it as an official backup? Or maybe e-mailing us a new link when there is a problem?

When you set up your browser to receive the smileys, you are also getting the pop-up window. Are you using Netscrape or IE 6? Also, are you using a pop-up stopper? If you set-up ie6 or outside "cookie" stoppers in order to stop the pop-ups you will not be able to load the page. The pop-up window also carries the "smileys". If you set your browser at the highest security, (stop ActiveX and cookies) it will load faster but no smileys. I do that most of the time, I just memorized the smileys sequence. example for shock is : and o which gives me If non of the above work, maybe CO has a better solution, btw, are you using cable or dial-up? If you are using dial-up, I highly recommend that you set your browser to the highest security function. ALSO, these question should be taken to the support window. Just remind Spiro or myself(other moderators?) via internal e-mail that you need help. I do not remember to look at that forum all the time. Soooo, if this does not help, go the "Support" page(forum), ask the question again and put in which browser you are using. I am using internet explorer 6, unfortunatly, so should you guys.(even though I hate BillyG)

iv'e had the page bookmarked all along.  i would go to the bookmark and received nothing for at least 3 days.  i tried multiple times, including typing in www.habsrus.com.  I then tried emailed [e-mail] and it got kicked back to me also??

I bookmarked both the main page and the discussion page, the main page wouldn't work for me too but the discussion board page worked. Maybe it's a good idea for you to bookmark both. In case it happens again.
