My Dad and I are making a trip there in November to see the Habs play Saturday and the Patriots/Lions on the Sunday.
A few questions for you:
1. Looked online for tickets at StubHub, nothing there, but looks like they're going on sale on Ticketmaster next Friday. Any idea what the availability will be?
2. Will I be killed if I wear a jersey to the rink?
This is a dream come true, can't wait!

2. Will I be killed if I wear a jersey to the rink? If this vid is any indication….(and it was taken after Boston beat Montreal in 2011 in Game 7 OT). Typical knuckle-dragging vulgarity. One should feel safe in a free society. But with the Habs taking out the Bruins last spring….I wouldn't wear Habs' insignia, unless you got a posse to back you up. But that's just me. I avoid physical confrontation with mindless fans of other teams--drunken or otherwise. No wonder Jack Edwards keeps his job.

Sounds like an awesome weekend....doubt you will have an issue wearing your sweater but have heard stories in certain US rinks of people throwing mustard or ketchup packs at people's sweaters in the concourses. Have a great sports weekend.

I wouldn't hesitate to wear my Habs sweater. Yes, being trained in MMA would raise my confidence!

Availability shouldn't be an issue. As for the Habs jersey., you should be fine but expect some mild harassment. There are usually a good amount of Habs fans in the building, it's mostly an issue at the bars around the Garden that you might run into some morons but that stuff has been cleaned up ad well. Good stuff.

Mrs Dis is heading to Salem in October for something to do with witches ... she asked about the Habs/Bruins rivalry and I told her that it couldn't be any worse than the Red Sox/Yankees ... still, I asked her to remove any Habs markings before going ...
Cheers.

Have fun, the atmosphere should be amazing (if the Bs fans behave!!).
Just got my tics to the Oct 27th game here in Edmonton today. Looking forward to that annual semi-takeover of Rexall Place by those donning the bleu-blanc-rouge.

I would of had one of them punched in mouth
