We should come out flying for the first 10 minutes of the third.
But we're pretty fragile right now....a loss certainly isn't out of the probable range.

Desjardins has played Yannick Weber 10 minutes so far. Beaulieu? 6:37. Yannick Weber. 10 minutes. Nathan, 6. Not much to say, huh?

Just saw the replay of the Canuck goal from the end zone camera. Desharnais was there in plenty of time to tie up the stick...or block the pass. A strong effort to get back...to do basically nothing once he got there. I wish it had been another player...sounds as if I'm picking on him....but watch it and tell me I'm wrong. Nope you're dead right. Useless It was pretty bad. Had a step on him, let up-started gliding, and he blows past him and scores.

Galchenyuk has really good hands.

I sure hope Galchenyuk learns how to finish a la Jagr. He's got every move except the last one.

All the Canucks have to do is find a little extra juice and they'll beat us.
As Pacioretty misses the net on a semi-breakaway.

Shots 4-1 Canucks this period. At the end of a long road trip, they're finding the energy.

Great pass from Galchy to send Patches away on the break. If he'd get streaky the points would roll up.

Gain the zone, turn the puck over in a bad spot. Get it deep, or get it on goal and force a face-off.

What's the word on Canucks' coach, Desjardins?
I've heard he's quite well-regarded.

Came in just in time to see both goals ... we need this one tonight ... how are the new combinations making out ... in the short time I've been watching I'd say we have the edge in puck possession ...
Cheers.

Pleks ticks me off again. Chips it off the boards to the only guy at the point...a Canuck. His option? Hold onto it. But that might mean a hit.

Galchy seems to be responding to the challenge of being top center

Can't do anything about those saves ... Miller is big and he's still an elite talent ... need a PP goal now ...
Cheers.

Has anyone noticed if we've parked someone in front of Miller? On the PP.

I didn't know this, CH ... *shakes head* ... The Canucks lost in Toronto and in Ottawa ... they really don't want to lose this one, too ... but still, they're one of the contenders to come out of the west this year, at least right now anyway ... beating them is a good measuring stick ... Plekanec!!!
