I think he's on a 1 goal in 16 game run with only 1 point in January. Disagree. Unfortunately he's on a line with larry and this month larry has been an offense black hole as you saw on the 3 on 1. It wouldn't hurt to try. .. mt has Weise, you could swap them for a game or 2. I guess. Too many guys are not carrying their weight offensively. Hard to tell sometimes if it's the player or his linemates.

Eller isn't skating at all. Another penalty for him tonight.

On that breakaway patches looked out of sync.

Patches definitely doesn't have that snap in his shot. We did get more scoring chances in that PK than the Caps.

Subban hits a post, then Pleks gets robbed all in the final 30 seconds.

What patience by Pleks. Slows down, stops, then charges to the net and feeds Pacioretty.

Didn't have to shoot hard there. Really good set up by Pleks with a slow and go at the blueline catching Orpik flatfooted.

Carey ties Roy in shutouts He did it in fewer seasons, too. Wow. A recent article pointed out that Roy didn't play the typical 60+ games a year that #1 goalies do nowadays when he started. It was more like 40. His wins per game played are almost identical to Brodeur's, but he played fewer games. The same would apply to shutouts. If I had to win one game in the era since the 60's, I'd want Patrick as my goalie, not Marty. Marty never came through in the Olympics, IIRC. I'm not as impresed with his STanley Cups either. Take away not Brodeur, but Neidermayer and they don't win any of those cups. He's the guy I'd want on my defense if I had to win one game (along with Larry, of course).
