We have possession , Subban winds up, pauses, pauses, pauses , blasts ...it's blocked and we don't get possession inside the blueline again. Quickly fire a wrist shot ...geeezz He was waiting for someone to screen Anderson, Skilly. There was no one in front so wristing a shot at the net is just losing possession. The problem in this case is that no one rushed to screen Anderson. That should be ingrained. If that's the case what are you taught? ... Quickly pass it or put it into the corner. Not blast into legs

Healthy wrist , smealthy wrist
... You can't have it both ways. If he cant shoot hard and you blame it on a bad wrist, then when he shoots a good one it's obviously not that bad a wrist.
Sometimes it's just he didn't et a good shot off because of nerves and pressure, nothing more, nothing less

Neither team looks great thus far.

Can't give the Sens any life .....some may not not give this team enough credit (me ...maybe a couple more) but the slim odds off them blowing this series aside as good as they can be they also have it in them to make ending this very difficult.

"lost his balance'. Of course, with Stone's stick between his legs.

Petry's so smart. Knows he's going to lose the battle but pokes at the puck at just the right time.

I wonder if we should try something or someone different on the PP. Maybe our 3rd line? I dunno, just sayin.

Ottawa is doing to us, what we do to others. Weather the storm, keep it close, rely on your goalie ...a break will come

Ottawa is laying down and what do the Habs do throw away 2 PP's ..... Sens score first tonight the Habs won't win ...giving them every chance to keep fighting.

Or at least start with a different defense pairing. Put Petry and Emelin out or something. Bingo I just threw out one idea. There are various 'different' things one could try. It might encourage the 'regular' PP guys to play smarter and harder to get back on.

I wonder if there's another Canadian team playing tonight, or if it's only the Sens on the ice.

So we've won 3? Not bad. Law of averages says we should win our 5th.

We started out well enough but those PKs must have given the Sens some life ... I won't mention anything about the PP ... just no drive anywhere ...
Cheers.

Couple of references already to the fact Stone is playing with a severely sore wrist. How many players aren't playing with some sort of "hurt" by this time of the year? Stone now has a rep around the league as a pussy. I guarantee a lot of veterans are playing with a much worse injury and are probably annoyed at all the attention poor Mark Stone is getting.
