It's weird to be watching the Habs with the lead. Scary, of course. But still rare.

Bent but didn't break. Need all hands on deck for the third. Shot total is misleading. I think we had the better scoring chances that period. I was wondering about scoring chances. but we goota pot 'em when we have a chance *cough*Pleks*cough*

Good, a penalty against us...a chance for some offence. Hahaha so true! We almost had one there! So close! I was quite serious with that remark. It's really a shame that often our best scoring chances come on the PK. PLeks and Max have had numerous ones throughout the year and Prust has had some as well. Personally, I find it disgraceful, but it is what it is.

Before I forget, Pateryn has been really good today. He's moving up the d-ladder IMO. This. Steady as a rock. And can actually move it out of the zone seemingly.

Before I forget, Pateryn has been really good today. He's moving up the d-ladder IMO. Well, I was thinking the same thing, 17 ... Pateryn scored 15 goals the season before last and most of those were on the PP from what I understand ... honestly, how much PP time has he received in Montreal (honest question, I really don't know) ... and I remember the PP problem almost disappearing with Gonchar on the point ... what was he doing differently ... Cheers.

Outshot 15-3 in that period.
Plus a lucky break on a no-goal. Fast whistle no doubt a result of Price's reputation.

I don't necessarily mind the boys playing defensively oriented, but they have to win the battles and be harder on the puck. If they do that they'll create some good counter punch opportunities. Unfortunately the Sens were winning those battles in the 2nd and quicker on the puck.
Gotta battle harder in the 3rd.

No make ups we Lee calling our games our make up call maybe he considers the no-goal Healy yes that Healy made a good point. Ottawa had slashed CArey late on a previous play, so one way to negate that is to whistle the play down quickly. Ottawa created their own problem, therefore.

The laughing is more out of the absurdity of it.

Wow...the intermission is all about the Ottawa no-goal.
Hrudey says it was the right call because of where Lee was.
Kypreos saying the refs owe the Sens a borderline 50-50 call. (I'd say they already got it with that Markov penalty.)
Now Friedman and Kypreos are upset that the Sens aren't crashing into Price, etc.
Kypreos: "I was hoping Ottawa would come out like they were shot out of a cannon....but now that Carey Price is in a zone...."
Our unbiased, professional hockey pundits, folks!
MUTE again.

It'll never get better ....others will say it's all a love affair with Price.
I don't have a good feeling so SN probably will get their way

I admit I exaggerated, ... It's fair to say, they dominated the 10 shifts they scored on. I duuno. But in the example you used, that 4 goal second period. In 6 seconds after the second goal, they take a penalty and 14 seconds after the second goal "slash-gate" and they are 2 men down. Less than two minutes after the second goal, Ottawa ties it up. Then we score again, about a minute later Ottawa ties it up. Ok, maybe I should have said , they haven't taken control of a game, haven't had continuous sustained pressure, haven't dominated a game .... Like other teams Maybe I'm nit picking , sorry. I'd like to see control too so I look for it where ever I find it - however brief.

Since Anderson replaced Hammond .... 4 goals in 4 games. Un-effin-believable This is typical of Anderson. Gets in a zone for a while then crashes back to earth. Wish that crash would come in the 3rd.

Since Anderson replaced Hammond .... 4 goals in 4 games. Un-effin-believable When you check out our top 6 forwards, though, is it that surprising? Besides the fact that scoring is down throughout the league. We're doing marginally better than the Lightning at least. Another goal would be nice. Another two goals would be better. Another 6 goals for us would send me to sleep a happy man.

This will be painful!
If we lose we can look back to Pleks, and Petry who could have made it 2-0. And Ellers goal post!
