NWT's post in the PGT inspired this poll.
When it's crunch-time in a playoff game....like we witnessed in Game 6....no doubt we all experience a rise in blood pressure, heart-rate, etc....i.e. I doubt any of us are Zen chillers.
Plus, I'm sure new words are invented......
Anyway....what describes what you do, by and large, when the intensity is "too much" for you to just sit there and watch?
I am usually a TV OFF-ER. But not tonight. If it's OT, I will turn it off against only the Bruins.

I watched a movie. & then checked the score periodically.
I tend to raise my voice when things are tense - not such a good idea when others are in the house.

I just sit and fret. Late in a tight game I'll actually sit on the edge of my seat - no kidding. Also, there's a lot of "inside voice" stuff going on. Once in awhile my inside voice will come out - but usually only when no one else is in the room.

I get restless and fret especially when the game goes to OT. Sudden death OT in the playoffs is always a thrill.

I have meds for that. Not specifically for that, but they work just the same. Otherwise, it's rant, vent, and use a few other 4 letter words.

Will pace during commercials but in last 2-3 minutes usually sitting on the ottoman yelling at the TV for the Boys to get it out - BUT DON'T ICE IT (perfectionist that way). The icings tonight in the last few minutes were particularly excruciating. A lot of talk about Mitchell but he lost some key ones at the end. Kypreous was going on about how great Mitchell was as he won 10 of 16 defensive zone face-offs. That's not far off 50%. At one point I thought I saw DD out there and almost fainted - but I was mistaken.

Nail biter. And profane language. I can't avoid the game though, must watch and torture myself.

Bottled up pretty tight, until the result. Good or bad, it's usually fairly loud.

Last night I definitely was out of the seat and pacing a bit in the last 90 seconds. Some fairly good chatter going on with the TV too during that stretch. It was more encouragement rather than cursing, thankfully, but my tolerance for silly little mistakes was very low.

For me it's MUTE. Especially now that the games are on TVA. Those guys just piss me off more than anything. Before I was able to handle Pierre Houde even if things were tight.

I usually pace or stand or sometimes sit at the far end of my man cave behind my bar ...last night I dint I just clutched a pillow sitting in my lazy boy ...waiting for the bad ending. Must say my stomach was churning more than usual because of the fear of blowing a 3-0 lead that thought of blowing this series scared me more than anything despite really feeling the Habs had the greater potential to be better.
I mentioned in another thread the style is hard to watch and even harder to appreciate what they have accomplished. even in the Roy years this team scored a pile more goals.
