If he accepted a two way would be ok insurance a career depth guy who had one pretty nice season.

I don't disagree but if he shows anything experience and depth especially cheap never hurt to stock pile.

He played with Semin when they were both in Washington. Perhaps that's some of the logic behind it. It certainly surprised me yesterday. More of "Left field Bergevin" at work lol.
It's a PTO, if all it accomplishes is to motivate one of the kids to really step up then it was a good move.
