How dumb are the intermission guys on sportsnet... any chance they can they slam the Habs. ... none of them are any good to be hired by any nhl team.... thats why they're on TV

The refs certainly seem to have a double-standard when it comes to PK.
He's brought some of it on himself, no question....as has Gallagher with his crease encroachments.....
I'm just questioning the seriousness of that play. Did it really warrant a penalty? We've all seen post-goal scrums/altercations that have included roughing of all sorts, with no penalties called.
The nature of this one was different, though, I agree. It was later...and it appeared to be one-sided....

I must admit when I saw Subbans celebration on a terrible and unlucky goal from centre ice my first thought, as a fan of this team was, what an idiot. I'm assuming that Dubinsky used a little more colourful language (not a pun). The $10 million dollar man felt disrespected and reacted accordingly, but his celebration was ridiculous and arrogant and stupid. The penalty was well deserved.
This is A1 example of why this team cannot deal with adversity, their leaders are either egomaniacal (PK) or robotic (Max and Plekanec) only Gallagher deserves the letter.
My two cents.

Good points, guys....
Although, Price could also be described as robotic....and he's definitely THE leader....

All the more reason not to do this stuff, he should realize that by now. We know how great he is, how talented he is, he doesn't have to celebrate it was the Stanley Cup winning goal. It was a fluke from 75 feet out.

What is with people & celebrations? I've been hearing people ripping Cam Newton because he looks like he is enjoying himself too much. Same goes for Subban.
I have no problem with it & I grew up in an Era where guys barely raised their sticks after a goal.
If a-holes like Richards or Dubinsky don't like his enthusiasm for the game then tough sh!t. Go yell at that moron you have in the net.

Does this team not know what a power play is? That man advantage means you have one more person on the ice than the other team? Brutal once again.

Could he be looking to whoop up his team in order to get them out of this history-making slump??
Maybe it's not being self-serving at all....maybe that's who he is...how he shows his leadership.

Yeah, that kinda pisses the other team off, and then we complain when they rough us up, injure us, and say we don't have respect

That one deserved no more than a smirk and a shake of the head. otoh, when you get $2 1/4 million a goal, I guess celebration is in order.

Almost all his other goals he skates around with that , ka-boom like look, and then he jumps into a team mates arms celebrating ....he doesn't skate away from everyone, not celebrating with his team, and his team mates trying to guide him to the bench

What, he's not allowed to point at the logo? I didn't know there were degrees of celebration depending on the situation & how the puck went in the net.

It looked like Gallagher didn't like his enthusiasm either ... I missed that...what happened? In the video posted ...it looks like Gallagher is saying "calm the (ahem) down" ... Whatever Gallagher is saying to him, he sure isn't smiling at him in Gallagher like fashion after a goal

I just find this has a lot to do with today's athletes & hockey is slower to adapt. It seems like any burst of enthusiasm pisses people off.

Montreal must be wearing their logos higher up on the jersey theses days ... In any event, Dubinsky can mouth off all he wants, a goal celebration shouldn't include mouthing off and pushing the opponent. No matter what was said. If Subban has an issue with that, then call the bigot/rascist out (if that was what got that reaction). If he won't do that, then he will have to live with getting chirped at, and not put his team down after scoring tying goals
