"Major" as in a 5:00 PP with around 7:00 remaining....down a goal....and zippo, nada, nothing....
But it's okay....everybody's safe!
Sure hope Lessio is okay....Momesso is irate. He said, "Gudas is right up there with Marchment, Samuelsson, Kasparaitis...."
My question....where was the response from his teammates? Who cares about the PP? Stand up for your teammate!

Marinaro: Therrien still rolled 4 lines....didn't shorten the bench...didn't take a timeout during that PP....

What a shame. A good effort from a few players. PK. Condon. Max.
Not enough. System not working. No one to coach the PP. Effort alone is not enough. Therrein must go and if Berg can't recognize that then he is the biggest weakness in the organization. The circus can get worse folks

This group of forwards may be the worst in the NHL. There is just not a lot of high end talent there, and not many assests to acquire any top 6 forwards. I have little faith that we can draft any in the future. We have to look beyond the coach who I think may be gone, but that will not be the long term answer.

The madman behind our bench will go down coaching his way to the bitter end why he was ever hired in the first place let alone still here this asinine...I wish Molson would fire the lot before they waste the small core we have....but you can bet everyone will be back come September

Marinaro: Therrien still rolled 4 lines....didn't shorten the bench...didn't take a timeout during that PP.... How does MT keep his job? Which now begs the question, how does MB keep his job. I don't understand what MB tells Molson when they meet. "Sorry Boss. I know we're on the worst run in this great franchise's history. But I've said I won't fire the coach so I can't. I know i haven't made any transaction of substance but I can't. Just puck luck is not going our way. The good news is that i have feeling that the lottery for the top draft pick will go our way. My horoscope says we're due!"

Time to start dumping salary and make a short list of coaches for the next season.

Someone is going to have to explain to me after 50 games why we still play Subban for almost the entire powerplay ... His shooting percentage on the PP is 3.7% , its 2.3% at even strength. His chances of scoring on that slap shot are slim and none. Yet we keep going to it,
i don't blame PK, but this "system" has not worked for 2 seasons now ... and yet, we always seem to get a sustain pressure when other defensemen are out there that wrist the puck or get it deep.
It's frigging frustrating. Either tell Subban to look before he shoots, or mix it up (cause he is a talented hockey player and you want him out there) or you sit him and show him what others are doing

Time to start dumping salary and make a short list of coaches for the next season. Dale Hunter ... someone who is actually good at developing youngsters And he played with the Nordiques, so you may get some leeway over the language issue

He preferred his life in London....why would he want the pressure in Montreal? And there would be no leeway unless he could speak some French....which he might have picked up playing for the Nords. I wouldn't hold my breath on him.... Hunter

Especially if they fall to the bottom 3 (we are 9 points out of that). Because right now if we do get Austin Matthews, we are likely to "wait for him to develop" like we do with most our picks. Or bring him in with no guidance in an offensively challenged , creativity challenged "system" .... I can see him pulling a Lindros

Boomerang financing..... Like I suggested earlier today....he needs to remove himself as President of the team.....we have to have a hockey guy in that position.

I don't think we've seen the worst yet but you can count on MT sulking behind the bench a rolling his lines over and over

MT post game going to his classic of running into a goalie at the top his game " feeling comfortable playing us". Uh,why do you think that is moron!? Unbelievable. Another hot goalie? Just like the no name who beat us back to back when we played Columbus. By the way that no name goalie has given up 4 goals in less than 2 periods tonight against the Oilers and remains a no name. So MT and MB just keep towing the line. And they wonder why other teams are so comfortable playing us.

Or are they instructed to always pass to him? Use him as a decoy and work it down low. But it helps if the wingers aren't on the icing line.

There was a time not to long ago in this 'slump that PK was being criticized for not shooting enough on the PP. I don't blame PK. Our coaches are useless and it is most telling on the PP.

There was a tweet with a photo of our PP. One Flyer forechecking, 3 Habs under the icing line and a 4th about 3 feet off it. Great coaching.
That was in OUR end.

Stay the course. Do nothing. Things will change. Michel knows what he's doing. MB is loading the team with talent. TT is finding truffles in poop. Eller will win a scoring championship. I enjoy Subban's figure skating. Fans are not concerned.
