Sergachev played game 39 tonight. Game 40 is this one against the Habs, so we can all cheer for the extra second rounder that will officially come back as part of that Drouin deal.

Carr and Froese sit. DLR back in at 4th line centre. Chucky will play despite missing practice yesterday with the flu.
We will end the night with an extra second rounder and Tampa could make our makeshift defense look pretty bad tonight.

Having an extra pick to miss with does not get me excited In 2013, we had a very good team and I was advocating trading at least two of our second rounders and maybe our first rounder, to bolster the team for a playoff run, for that very reason .... We added no one, and the scoring fizzled out in the playoffs. I asked in my signature for the longest time if the players would be worth it. The counter argument was second rounders are gold in Timmins' hands, mainly due to Subban. I'd sure as heck sacrifice McCarron, Fucale, De La Rose and Lehkonen to bolster the lineup for a Cup run . |

Gotcha I pointed out before. I don't buy it. He has had 15 drafts to find a first line center (or a 70 point player) either by sheer dumb luck as some feel other teams have done, or by a great pick. Still waiting, or was there no choices in 15 years? |
