From a fraction of his $4million salary he ought to be able get some top-shelf skating lessons AND receive remedial instruction on making smart passes AND get expert extra-curricular tutoring on defensive positioning in his own zone. Lucky for him he has all this money available to spend on improving himself.

If memory serves me right , Rick Green couldn't turn either. Somehow, I don't think Brisebois is going to get a lot of help from that direction. Maybe he should hire Ray Bourque as a tutor? ![::)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/eyesroll.png)

He' hasn't had the moniker of "breeze by for nothing"......but he certainly has looked quite bad this season. Is it a result of the new rules?Or has Patrice lost even more of a step? HFTO

A couple of weeks back when the Habs and Rangers played, John Davidson and his partner also noticed that Brisebois was falling quite easily and often. They surmized it was an injury he was fighting through, as it could not be possible for an NHLer to have such difficulty skating. He should be given credit for being a gamer because he does play through alot of injuries. But if its to the detriment of the team, then he has to step aside. Accountability...That play on Sunday against Simon, some D-men in my men's league could have played it better!! ![::)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/eyesroll.png)

I have no doubt that PB was brutal. That being said, a few weeks ago he was clearly playing through an injury, it was even reported on a few media outlets. He was bashed early in his career for missing too many games, now he plays through pain, can't hate him for that. Of course, coaches should see he's struggling and give him a couple of games off - even if he can play with the pain, the coaches know he's not all there. It's his job to say if he can play, it's the coaches job to scratch him if he won't be up to par.
