you do realise we did not pick up this guy to score goals do you? I know that Marc, but at this rate, Hackett may score more goals than Sundstrom will next year. Gainey, Carbonneau and Provost were defensive specialists, known for their checking and not their scoring. One of the weapons of a checking forward is the ability to score an occasional shorthanded goal or counterattack goal. It makes the opposition exercise some caution on their attack. Sundstrom scores when he represents Sweeden but not in the NHL. Does that mean he is soft or not motivated. Something is wrong.

We got the guy as a bonus. He played well tonight. The chow line was pretty dangerous. With 2 guys like Sundstrom and Juneau Chow can give it all he got and not worry about defense. Something MT never understood.

Something MT never understood. Besides which both Juneau and Sundstrom are above average passers. A very complementary line. I like it. Czerkawski actually made some nice defensive plays today

IF only there was a big strong physical body on that line it would really work IMO

If Kilger plays like a somewhat lesser version of Keith Primeau..it could work
