Apparently he was on the ice with the team again today and on CFCF they said his return is slated for ''soon''.........
Rinfret on TQS said last night Souray is coming back soon as well...
So when is soon? remember last year everyone thought Sheldon was gone for a long time and all of a sudden he appears against the Pens...and plays the best hockey as a Hab
Oh man...Souray in, Traverse OUT ! that would be so good...
Markov-Rivet Souray-Brisebois Hainsey-Quintal
You can keep Hainsey up...not use him late in games...play him 10-15 minutes per game...on PP...ease him in with Souray back.........

What?? No Dykhuis? No Traverse? Brisebois as our number 4 defenseman? I like it ;D Fix Rivet's arm, and bring up Komo (not yet) and you will have a pretty solid defense, especially if Brisebois can get back to playing like he did in the first quarter.

Markov/Rivet Souray/Brisebois Hainsey/Quintal
Traverse or Dykhuis to Hamilton. Flip a coin.

I was reading a post at the other site and the poster said he was watching 110% thurs night and Rinfret said that Souray is a couple of days away from practicing and 1-2 weeks from being in the lineup. Anyone hear anything confirming this?

Anyone hear anything confirming this? I also heard it on 110%. Among all the crap(that was said that night) came a beacon of light reminder of what good D is like. It really looked like crap though. The guy seemed to know something that other people didn't. Was he trying to be interesting ? Don't know about the credibility of the sources. Let's just hope that our ressources get back ...

Sheldon Souray returning soonMathias Brunet La Presse Montreal Hold on, hold on, there was a large robust left-handed defenseman on the ice Friday midday at the Canadiens' practice... Sheldon Souray, who was concerned for his career following a second operation on his wrist at the end of November, is healing quicker than predicted. He has just taken part in a second practice with his team-mates (however he is avoiding exercises where there is contact) and he even hopes to return to action in four to five weeks! "For the moment, I am satisfied with skating and I'm still prohibited from taking slap shots, but I am very encouraged by my recovery from the injury, he confided Friday. In two weeks the state of my wrist has improved 100 %. After the first operation, blood still couldn't circulate in this area of my wrist, and that's what led me to give in to having a second operation. This time, to my relief, all worked out well." Souray will be evaluated in three weeks. "I meet the doctors in mid-February and they will either give me or not give me permission to return to play. If the answer is yes, I will only need some practices to sharpen my reflexes. My physical condition doesn't worry me since I've been skating for more than a month. If I can return to play at the end of February or at the beginning of March, I'll be happy." - translated from www.cyberpresse.ca/sports/article/1,154,1881,012003,189446.shtml

Well ask and you shall receive. ;D Thanks Mr. Bozo as usual a quick and accurate fact find. I don't know what happened at the other site for you to leave but IMO that's their loss and this site's gain. Thanks again. Great news not only is he coming back this season he will also beat March 11th by about 3 weeks. This should open up AS's options a bit come the deadline. I know as it has been pointed out Sheldon is not Bobby Orr but IMO he's almost as good now and will be better than McLaren. Lets not forget also that if big #44 ever learns to get that 90+ mph shot off a little quicker and more accuratly we could have quite a usefull little weapon but for now I'll be more than content to see him clear a couple of Barnaby's and Corson's from the front of the net

I've been a bit of a gadabout (but not, at least to my mind, without good reason). And what other moniker might I have known you by? Got me curious now.

I wasn't on any other sites aside from the occasional post on faceoff. I just thought you were the guy that used to mod at fanhome and finally had enough. If I'm mistaken sorry about that and just ignore that stuff except the thank you's of course ;D

I was the nazi, fascist, communist, gay, motherExtraLOVEing clown who put a few noses out of joint by imposing law and order over there. It certainly wasn't dull and I don't regret the experience. It taught me a great deal about anger management and volunteer work

Gotta Love Bozo. Only a clown wouldn't recognize his talents. Their loss in Habsrus' gain.
