Theo admitted to TSN that he made a mistake on Andrechuk's tying goal last night. So HE was responsible for the tie. Plus HE stunk at the beginning of the season so that probably cost us about 4-6 points, if not 10. Or even more. Even now he's not back to where he was. He's still a inconsistent, making great stops and then making mistakes. So we can't count on him. So IT'S ALL HIS FAULT. Everything. So we should start a petition. Take him out to the bridge and shoot him. Bench him and play Hackett all the time. Bring up Garon as the backup and send Theo down to Hamilton. Trade him for a bag of pucks. yadda, yadda, yadda. And call him names - you all can fill in the blanks here __________________________. Couldn't resist. Makes about as much sense as the Traverse thread. I now agree with PTH- we don't have to read it but it fills up the front page with, well, junk. Which pushes worthwhile stuff to the back pages which most folks never bother with. Down with democracy! If this board fills up with people just letting off steam it becomes just another 3rd rate board! Horrors, the sky will fall! You may now all throw rocks, boulders, beer bottles or anything else that comes to hand. Your humble servant. etc etc.

In all seriousness, Theo is back to being the Theo of January 2001 to December 2001, which is VERY good, but just not the unconscious goalie we saw in the second half of last season.

Hab West, me being one of the ring leaders in the Traverse nonsense, i must admit that you are correct. After reading your thoughts it has become clear to me how silly I have behaved. As for the fellow posters I feel that they are entitled to their opions ( which I happen to share) but it was I who depicted having him shot. My whole life I have been led to show respect to others, this was so wrong on my behalf. Lesson learned, my friend.

Naw, you weren't being targetted Marc. I was just shooting my mouth off. Can't resist a prank or just plain putting my foot in it. Cheers

We keep on winning and things will sort themselves out. It's not a big lead anymore anyways, only 1 or 2 games on the teams that matter.

I want to jump on the bandwagon. I haven't hated anybody in over 1/2 an hour.
I like it when someone stands up and admits "I made a mistake" instead of blaming it on someone else. (Reverse or Breezeby) It shows that Theo has character and is a team player. Everyone makes mistakes, but only the big players admit it.
Goodbye Hackett. We'll miss you and we really appreciate all you've done for us. You were a class act and a VERY GOOD goaltender. I have to stop short of wishing you luck in Boston, but if anyone deserves a chance to start on a team that needs a goaltender, you do.

but it was I who depicted having him shot. My whole life I have been led to show respect to others, this was so wrong on my behalf. Lesson learned, my friend. Just a second Rocky. You've been listening to Bullwinkle too long. Sure....he's always antsy because some hunter is out there looking for his rack, but you're a squirrel. Stay in the deep woods and no children with .22's will be around. I'm sure there are occasions where a good shooting is well deserved so we don't want you to get too 'guilty' on us and become gunshy. Sorry, have to go straighten my 8 x 10 glossy of Charlton Heston, he's getting skewed on me. (What's that?....you're not that Rocky? Sly who?)

Thanks for the support seventeen , once I get my registry fix-up perhaps we'll have the odd very late night execution or so ;D really it was meant to be fun, but imagine if Travvy's family saw it, that would bring out the mods armed and dangerous on my tail. Maybe I could hide out in Sweden pretending that I am an older Canadian goon with male pattern baldness, and relaxed muscles. ;D How about this one below. www.badassbuddy.com:8080/images/buddies/badassbuddy_com-execute2.gif

Ahh HW what am I going to do with you? Sigh....
Didn't I tell you to take your clothes of and take a walk in the woods? Let it all hang our and be as free as a bird. Take deep breaths. Sing to the birds. Yodel to the monkeys. Share a back scratch with a grizzly. Talk conspiracy theory with a boa constrictor. Howl at the moon with the wolves. Laugh with the hyenas. And of course, my personal favorite! Bust heads with a rhino until it says UNCLE.
Things one must do to relax and take things into stride.

I sure hate Savard now... (taberouette) Maudine Doc, faut pas prendre ca si pire.... It's not like this isn't at all like previous Savard moves, it's an OK move IMO, not bad, but not good, but by no means what a top GM would have done. Compared to the Audette and Chow blunders, this is small fry, IMO. It does kinda confirm me in thinking that AS is just a "blah" GM. Unless he has something else up his sleeve. Even just dealing Dackell for a 5th would make things look better now.
