What a jerk!
from RDS
-----------
Hey DONALD...here is a solution...how about looking at your PP time all year before blowing off your big fat mouth about how you deserve ice time.
he won't go the minors as well....

How about he gives back what he's been paid so far and quietly goes off to join Patrick Poulin in the resto biz? Or better yet, *works* for a living somewhere.

THREE goals
Tons of PP time
Time with quality players
and this guy thinks he deserves more ice time?
PTH is right, he should be shot.

Excellent !!! Terrific !! Thank you Donnie !!!!!
Think about it guys, it was hard for AS to do anything with Audi, since he's generally overrated by the local media and fans, but now Audi comes off as a whining jerk, making him eminently tradeable/dumpale/buyout-able. AS's hands aren't tied :-)
Now, AS, go get that rifle, have Audi tied to a post....

I protected him on this board over and over but with these comment, he hung himself... He plays like sh1t and should blame nobody but himself. Savard MUST rid the team of this cancer...

Poor Audi, can't wipe his own @ss and complains about the smell.
Yes it's crude but mercenaries like Audio bother me a LOT! Why does he not put as much efoort in scoring as he does in whinning?
If remember correctly, once a player has cleared waivers, he can be sent down to the minors. I wonder what the rules are if he refuses to report to the minors? He must of breached his contract. at which point the Hab's can say GIASSOU BLAKA (goodbye slow one).

Put him on waivers and send him down to Hamilton. If he refuses to go, suspend him and save cash.

Well, he's definitely forcing Savard's hand now. I wonder what he'll do to make him pay for this. Obviously the conversation he and Julien had on the ice yesterday made him take this desperate route out. Too bad, I thought he was a classier guy. Maybe the public is now seeing his true colours. Doc's right, he just turned himself into a tumour.

For all practical intents and purposes, after his outburst Audette cannot be considered part of the team. Disp is right; if he refuses to report to Hamilton, suspend him, keep him away from the club and save money and morale.

What a fecking soap opera. And the fact that it's a soap opera is ultimately Savard's responsibility; and not that of the clowns, whiners, freaks and actors he's assembled. Yeah they're all supposed to be "professionals, blah, blah, blah...", but Savard collected them and has either tried and failed to clean up this mess just a little, or he's failed to try...Either way, he's got to roll up his sleeves and start shovelling....

Doc, what is it with you and stray puppies? First there was Ribiero and then Audette. Whose next? Peter Puck? Why sing for the sorrow ones when you can celebrate the mighty? GO KOMI! We could use someone good at the right side of our D. Just can't wait to have a monster at the right side to pair with Markov. Komi better be good .. in fact he better be better than good. He has to become our TRUE #1. It would be a relief for me to see Brisebois as our second D and Rivet as our third. And to have a true physical presence on the right side that plays about 25 minuts per game. We all have to cross fingers ... cuz if Komi ain't that guy ... we'll keep losing games at the end like that. Yup .. Traverse had a stupid penalty .. but Brisebois plays behind the net when he dumped it across the board was even more stupid. And then he proceeded to let Andreychuk have this good shot against Theo... Little things .. CJ is learning ...

You think clearing waivers he might give the guy a clue that all the other gms think he is an overpaid cancer. But given his inflated sense of self worth as indicated in his comments i'm sure he thinks the world is wrong and he is right. Send the baby to hamilton. i would love to see the humiliation on his face when he enters the dressing room to meet his new team mates who barely shave. At this point AS should just think of dumping salary. That would be return in itself.

Just went through a chat session with Mathias Brunet at La Presse website. He said he has been talking regularly with Audette and that his confidence level is at ZERO. Too bad but we can't wait for him to get it back. We are in a fight for a playoff spot and we have 4 other RW doing a better job at what they are suppose to do.
There is no other solution than to dump him- waivers. Julien can't be patient with him given our current position in the standings. Audette had plenty of PP time to regain his scoring touch.

...One thing that did not came across the right way at first in the article is that Audette actually said that HE IS WILLING to go in the AHL like Chow did to get the icetime he feels he needs to snap out of his slump.
Donald has the door wide open but something tells me he would not clear waivers if he gets send down.
As an aside, Czerkawski isn't playing any better then Audette.

A) Even if we got nothing for him and he became the Audette of old somewhere else he has practically no value right now and is doing nothing for us for about $3.5 mil a year. B) I'd be happy (believe it or not) if he became the Audette of old somewhere else, I hate to see a decent career go down in flames like that. Here's hoping!

The man in the know, Jacques Demers, said during last nights post-game that Audette's days as a hab are over. He said it in a very matter of fact tone, the one that he uses whenever he is dead serious. Personally i hope that Donald takes a trip to Hamilton, starts scoring gets his confindence back, and comes back to Mtl. No matter what happens, I'll never forget that awful injury he suffered in a valiant attept to save a goal, he took one for the team, and paid a huge price.

From what i understand...Audette initially said that "under no circumstances" would he report to the AHL club. Apparently he had a chat shortly after that interview with his agent, and now Audette is saying that he probably would report to Hamilton. Also, i'm almost positive that Audette would clear waivers. If Chow cleared waivers with a slightly smaller contract (and only 1 year left as opposed to Audette's 2) then Audi will certainly clear. Right now i think the best thing is to send Audette to Hamilton...hopefully he can get his confidence back and be usefull to the Habs down the stretch. And if he is picked up on waivers? Well that would be great also...

Plus Hamilton can use the help. Hossa is up here, Hainsey is up here, Gratton is lost for the season.
I think he will go to Hamilton. And then the team will buy him out in the off-season. To buy him out they will have cough up 2/3 of the remaining $6 million, which is $4 million. To offset that cost, the team will probably not sign a guy like Petrov and have to dump Quintal's $2 million to someone looking for a veteran defenseman. No big loss (although I like Petrov).

If he is suspended, then it would be without pay, a la Mironov. But soon enough he will realize that $ 3 million a year is nothing to sneeze at and will come to his senses.

Hamilton is not THAT bad of a place when you are making 3 million per year The Dogs could certainly use him..by my count...Pisani, Rita, Hossa have all been called up and Gratton is injured...4/6 of their top 6 is gone basically.
