According to rumours, and Posts on other sites, these players are on the bubble with their respective clubs..
So it's time for us to dig in and find out Who could help the team the most in there and who can't..and what would it take to get some of these guys...
Remember, we already got MT fired (yeahhhhhhhhh)..we might as well have another wish realised by AS right? LOL

They would all be nice(aside from Lucky Luc and coach killer Primeau)
I wouldn't mind Gratton here to replace Gilmour next year...a big center in his prime...

McLaren and Gratton would both be great for this team. Both are big strong players with plenty of upside.

Hard to vote since almost all the names on your list are not available for MTL...we don't have the assets to conclude a trade for any of those names since AS is not touching the assets in the minor or his young guns
We have 2 need
1- a rough defancement= McLaren...boston won't deal with us unless at 2h55 from the trade deadline(usualy 3h) and Mtl being shure to be in the playoff and boston in the real urgency of a goalies
2- a big center...Gratton and Primeau...we don't have the logical return to give

i won't vote because none of them will... Exept for Robitaille those a all players with good trading value being Big AND talented, AS is rather conservative and will stay from any high risk trade who involve his core players. I like André Savard but this is why having a guy like Pierre Lacroix must be very entertaining to have has a gm. he always do big trades, it must be exiting

I was looking for the "none of the above" option...hmph...not there. I also don't think any of them will end up here for all the reasons mentioned in other posts. I would on the other hand, be content with a solid 5th or 6th D. This should come a lot cheaper than those listed here. I don't understand why people are so keen on Gratton. Sure he is big and has potential. But hasn't he had potential for like the last 5 years?? Everywhere he has gone, he hasn't lived up to his hype. I say pass. I would rather have Drury, a hard working center who shows up every night, than Gratton. cheers,

you gotta remember that AS will not trade any of our young players, prospects, or decent picks to acquire a veteran, so imo, that rules out drury, gratton as cal and buf are not going to trade for verterans. i also don't believe we have the assets without moving young players or prospect to acquire kovalev, daze or even primeau. as far as mclaren, if there was going to be a mclaren for hackett type deal done, i would assume it would of been done already. outside of that i can't see mtl and bos trading. robitaille would be a horrible pick up as far as salary, plus he isn't doing much scoring these days(robitaille not scoring=useless), so... kubina may be a possiblity....
