Audette or maybe Kilger on IR
They can't send Hainsey down after the game he just played. Especially with CJ using him so much.

Something has to happen
Both Hainsey and Hossa lock up their spot and don't deserve to go down and there is another one in Hamilton with a shut out tonight...
that guy is just outstanding lately

They will find a way...
Habs have no problem having NHL salary playing in the AHL. Plus Dogs need help up front.
I say Audette could get demoted or Blouin.

A better question will be who is coming up.
Audette is good as gone.
Blouin is a punching bag.
Ward and Gratton deserve a shot.
I need a drink.

How about Ribs? Maybe we could trade him for a 5th pick or something...to replace what we lost to get Julien Man, who would have thought having so much depth could cause so many headaches..

I think it will be blouin,
Claude still has to evaluate his players, see what they can do, Blouin is the one a coaching change will affect the less on his play, first time he got, Julien will promote Ward in his place.
Oh and just a hunch, I think Julien will put Gilmour back at center.

NOOOOOOOO!! Ribs for a 5th pick?? He is worth way more than that. As long as the 4th line keeps getting ice time and he can take the odd shift on the PP, he should stay right where he is. Remember, he is not as soft as he was/ppl think he is; how about Kilger-Ribs-Mckay as a 4th line? Seems to me Mckay played a decent game tonight and that would be a line with reasonable speed (man Kilger is fast for such a big guy!), that could score a little, and that would be physical. Just for the rest of this year, then Ribs might take on a bigger role next year if some of the vets are moved.

But we have too many forwards.......... What do we do? If you have to assume.... Zednik-Koivu-Hossa Bulis-Perreault-Petrov are staying together Then... Chow-Juneau-Dackell...can work so that leaves 6 guys for 3 spots...Ribeiro, Blouin, McKay, Kilger, Audette and Gilmour Man to be an NHL GM must be tough.....

Ribs should be gone, that forth line was the weak point. They killed our first period momentum, they should all be gone.

Don't assume the second line will stay together. I wouldn't be surprised to see Gilmour back at centre and maybe Yannic on the wing. Petrov may not need to play every night and we don't know that 1) Gilmour's back will hold up, 2) Koivu will finish the season without another injury or needing to take some time off, and 3) Hossa will continue to produce. I'm all for giving Hossa ice time but if he starts to stink up the phone booth, then I don't really see why he should be playing on the first line while Ribs gets traded for essentially nothing - Hossa's only big advantage over Ribs in terms of future potential is his size (and maybe genetics.... ).

Don't forget speed, and finish and generating chances. Hossa is an all around better player then Ribs IMO.

I'm not sure about that. Ribs seems to have a special spark about him; when he is on the ice he seems to control the play and make things happen. If you are going to make comparisons, you should take experience as a consideration too: Ribs has played 87 games in the NHL compared to only 16 for Hossa. In other words, its way too early to tell if Hossa will even make it as an NHL player, whereas the fact that Ribs is still around despite often being used on the wing or the 4th line and despite being poorly treated, IMO, by MT, suggests that he has a good chance to last in the NHL. P.S. If Hossa played for another team I would be wary about trading Ribs for him, straight up, although I don't say I wouldn't do it (it would be nice for montreal to trade UP in size for a change :

I don't believe Perreault would take the wing assuming he would also take faceoffs and then go to the wing ... He has not the speed to be a winger and he is not the kind of guy that goes along the board even though he did tonight... astounding for such a lazy a$$. I also believe like Psycorp that CJ will use Gilmour as a center again. Hossa-Koivu-Zednik Bulis-Perreault-Petrov Juneau-Gilmour-Czerkawski (Mckay/Kilger/Audette/Blouin)-Ribeiro-Dackell I'd personaly rather have Kilger. But McKay is probably going to have the spot. Since CJ is rolling the fourth lines I'm sure Gilmour will be glad to take on the 3rd line since he would play a lot more than he would on a MT third line. Just my two cents
