Well the trade deadline is slowly coming into view, pretty soon that's all we'll have left to talk about. I have posted enough negatives on Traverse-a-lot to put him back to pee-wee, I am sick of him, sick of MT, sick, sick, sick.

BTW remember the Isles game?
it looked like this right? remember the 3rd?
well that happens when you go with 5 D-man for the last 20 minutes. What did Hainsey do to get benched? what did Traverse do to play so much?

Well that is the end of the season as far as I'm concerned. They NEEDED to win all 4 of these games and they've already lost 2 of them. It doesn't get much worse than losing to Buffalo and Atlanta. VERY hard to see Montreal making the playoffs without a major change very soon (ie. MT gets fired or they trade Blouin for Kovalchuk and Heatly : . If they finish the season poorly enough, they'll get a good pick and perhaps they'll even fire MT.

Watch the comments these sushi eating mama boys will come up with ''Nurminen robbed us of 2 points'' ''we only lost by 1 goal'' ''we dominated the first 2 periods'' and MT will probably say ''we played with intensity''

Some interesting ice time stats(from ESPN...not the most reliable source though) : Koivu: 16:52 Ribeiro: 16:43 Petrov: 17:38 Juneau: 18:21 Our best player plays less than our stone handed 3rd line center and a mediocre player like Petrov? and Ribeiro plays almost the same amount as Saku? Ron Hainsey: 10:10 Patrick Traverse: 22:49 What a game Traverse played Rookie benched because MT fears he will cost him the game and what happens? veterans lose it for him. Blouin: 5:40 holy cow. Of course, it ain't coaching eh

Wow that was horrible..... There is no way, with this defense, that we make the playoffs. Turn the puck over much? Pathetic. Hainsey being benched so we can watch Traverse bumble for 23 minutes is ridiculous.

MT just made it sound like the Thrashers ''stole'' the win from us I quote ''our defence did not play that baddly...we didn't give up alot of scoring chances''

There are 2 players that come to mind which should have been benched in the 3rd period, and neither of them is Ron Hainsey. 1. Brisebois: I looked at the clock when this happened...at the 10 minute mark of the 3rd, the habs are in their own zone and good ol' breezy turns the puck over 3 times. If Hainsey would have done that, he would have been shot and sent to the minors in a pig truck, never again to be seen this year. Totally brutal defense. 2. Traverse: He played soft all night long, coasting along , waiting for someone to zing by him. He hit one guy all night and Tapper just kept on going as if to say: " hmmm...what was that ... did I hit a fly? thank heavens my mouth was closed..." JJ played a good game I found. He had some jump which was lacking in the last couple of games. YP was again very ineffective tonight other than in the faceoff circle. He really misses Gilmour. Flyers tomorrow...the end of the season is coming fast. I don't know how many more warnings AS needs from us before he grows a couple of huevos-es! (sp?) cheers,

I think MT should start sending his cv to Macdonalds and Burger Kings because he will never coach again in the NHL. What a disappointing season so far! They played up to their talent only a handful of games. Sorry for the pessimistic posters on this board but I do believe this team has enough talent to be in the top 8 and collect betweem 90 and 95 points. It's obvious to everyone this team is on the road to nowhere with MT behind the bench, I can't believe Savard, Boivin and especially GG are not on the verge of losing patience with him. DO SOMETHING!!! Or go back to school and follow a crash course in management and leadership issues, they will spell it out to you- F-I-R-E T-H-E-R-R-I-E-N

we will win tomorrow. last time a loss like this happened i predicted a nice comeback the next day and it worked. i will do it again. koivu will lead the team to another victory. its a shame that his point streak and marcel's goal streak had to come to an end, but it's a bit harder to score when you're only playing 16 minutes a game when you should be playing 20 against a weak defensive team like the thrashers. mt is a joke, and i hope someone hurts him, and he gets fired. traverse should be taken into a dark alley and beaten unconscious, hopefully suffering memory loss and will never play again. why us?!!!? oh yeah we have a retarded coach, literally.

If this kind of play continues for the season, there is no doubt HABs will not make the playoffs,i really dont understand why some big move or change hasnt happend? Its like savard is waiting for something magical too happen, there is no magic, time for the shoe to drop with Coach and a player move or 2.!If we cant make a trade or 2 for something that might help us then its time to bring up a dman and a forward!

Savard's patience may wind up costing him his own job !!!
We just lost twice in 5 days to the 2 worst teams in the league!!
something has got to give. Why does he keep waiting to fire MT...it's not like MT is some genious coach who would immediately be snatched up by a NHL team a month after(Like Hartley and Sutter)....

does MT know what going with your best horses means?

There is another silver lining in tonights pathetic showing. In all likelihood we will lose against Philly and To. I know we've predicted MT's demise before but i really believe that two more losses and he is gone. Halleluja. At the end of the day AS will have no choice. If it is not MT's fault that this team is not performing then it must be the person who assembled the 'talent' at a pretty good price to GG. It's not as if we can blamed the last 3-4 weeks on injuries or bad goaltending. But as has been pointed out many times on this board - it is very easy to look at all these games and find major flaws in coaching decisions from whose dressing, to line formations, to whose on the ice in key situations. AS better start looking for a scapegoat and he doesn't have to look too far. This team is underachieving and if AS doesn't right the ship soon the playoffs will be gone. Scapegoat isn't a fair term as it suggests that MT is not responsible but i don't care how AS comes to the decision - JUST DO IT!!
If you were guaranteed that MT would be gone if we lose the next two games how many of you would , god forbid, root for the Flyers and Leafs. Boy that's a hard pill to swallow but if it brings on a cure... Unfortunately I can't guarantee that AS will do the wise thing as he hasn't up to now with MT but I believe the hour is getting late. Guarantee or not I cannot bring myself to root for those teams. The losses just won't be as hard to take if it means MT will be gone.

They have this way of boucing back when we least expect them to and saving MT's job......... But IMO there is no way the Flyers come out with a bad effort tonight. Hithcock will be pissed after losing 7-4 to ATL and the Flyers will come out firing. Like vichab said...what is the excuse to keep MT? earlier you could blame it on Theo's bad start...well not anymore....you can't blame it on injuries for a change...you can't blame it on talent or lack there of.... Everything that needed to go right for the Habs to be a contender this year HAS happened, yet the Habs are worst than last year.
