Desperate times call for desperate measures! Keeping Hossa instead of Lindsay isn't necessarily a desperate measure, mind you. But keeping a rookie with a 2-way over a veteran with a 1-way, could be. I still would have sent down Audette instead of Lindsay. But if Boston gets a Brain Fart and wants Audette, like Marc suggested, it's better to keep him playing in the NHL. For now.

Not necessarily, if Audi goes down and finds his touch like Chow did then it may help move him. We'll still have to eat some/most of his contract but he'll be gone.

Another great pickup by Savard who'll collect his HABS paycheck and play in the AHL...
Bulldogs must have the alltime highest payroll of the AHL!!!
GG must find this really exciting...
But let's not be mean, this is all good news, finally the spare parts are being treated as such by the organization...
BRING UP WARD

GG must find this really exciting... How much does Lindsay make? 800 K? Plenty of players make that kind of money in the minors right now...

It adds up Marc.
Gillett kept being told that help HAD TO come from the outside yet Chow, Audette and McKay aren't impressing anyone and now Lindsay will be in the AHL...
Meanwhile Ward and Gratton are tearing up the AHL and the minute we call up Hossa he looks like one of the most skilled players on the roster...
...Gillett might not know much about hockey but he's the guy getting the millions out and it's pretty darn evident that his GM has made a couple of bad judgement calls lately that is costing him millions of dollars for nothing today. If I see this... HE sees this.
Bring up Ward!!!

Has he cleared waivers yet..
I know that you must get 48 hours through the waivers to be assigned down there
Can someone pick him up for the next 48 hours or he went through without anyone picking him???
I which for him that someone would pick him up...he is wasting his time over here

Is it possible that since he cleared waivers way back on oct 5th...not to shure of the exact date that draft when they gived their first 23 man roster( we lost Robidas)...so he can be send down since the beginning of the season

Who went out and got this guy Lindsay who was supposed to be the answer for our need for size? Can you say Andre. He was sent to Hamilton because we couldn't send him to Baghdad. Too bad Savard and Therrien didn't go with him.
