Time for Rat Face to go down to the Dogs. It has done wonders for Chow, he got I think a goal and an assist in the second game between the Dogs and the baby laffs. He's got 12 points in 6 games, most of them goals. Looks like sending Chow down could have been the best thing for him.
It is not time for rat rface to have the same thing done to him. Send him down and bring up chow and give chow the same amount of ice time that rat face got and we'll see what happens. If chow can produce for a month or so, it might make it easier to shop him around, if we eat a bit of his salary. We can then do the same with rat face. I don't want to keep either of them.

Well I told you sending Chow down would be a good thing. That was the kick in the a** he needed and that will get his confidence going.
But I am not so sure it will work for Audette. His attitude is already questionnable and all he would do down there is probably whine and create a bad atmosphere on a great team

I was against sending Chow down from the beginning. Yes he seemed to have hit a rough spot, but he was playing too few minutes with a checking line (MT's bright idea to put Czerk on a checking line) or on his wrong wing (which might have worked - but didn't).
Don't get me wrong. He's not my favorite player. He plays without passion and drive. He can't spell defence. But given a choice between him and Audette... I think the choice has been obvious from day one this season. Audette simply hasn't got it.
Czerk played wonderfully last night. He is far too good to be playing in the AHL. All three of the goals he was involved in (he had two and an assist) were simply "we just undressed the whole team - what the hell are you going to do about it?". Hell - he even rubbed a couple guys out against the boards (small wingers who had drifted back to the point mind you, but still).
But then again - everything about this team gets more and more pathetic as the season goes on. I won't be surprised to see Mariuz finishout the season in Hamilton.

Well one thing for sure Chow has lived up to his part of the bargain. I, for one, certainly have a lot more respect for him now, bring him back and play him, he's earned it.

I fail to get impressed when multi-million dollar players are taking development time from prospects. Chow learned NOTHING in the AHL and never will. If the issue was to keep him somewhere safe and productive then for what end? Is he coming back to play full time?
At least if they sent Audette, then I can say they are trying to give him his confidence back but the Polish Prince is far to arrogant for that type of lesson.
What makes me think that the Hab's management is writing a book called AmateurRus?
What makes me think that be the end of the season we will be calling for Savards head? That is if GorgeousGeorge does not get it first.

I think it's been understood for quite a while between Savard and Chow that he will leave Montreal at the first oppotunity. Chow is no longer in the team's plan and I am sure Savard tried to trade him and upon failing at that he even waived him but nobody bited. Chow "practices" in the AHL, waiting for that trade to happen. I would be VERY surprised to see him again in Montreal.
As for Audette, I am sure he would not go to the AHL if Savard doesn't try to move him or wave him first.

I fail to get impressed when multi-million dollar players are taking development time from prospects. He isn't taking time away from our best prospects. Balej is playing Ryder is playing Plekanec is playing Ward is playing Gratton when healthy is playing In fact...one could argue he is helping them out...playing with better players usually makes you better
