----------
Savard wants more consistency
Savard looked remarkably clamn before tonight's game
Back from Halifax where he was able to appreciate the progress made by Higgins and Perezhogin, the GM did not seem worried with his team's difficulties.
Savard hopes his team will be more consistent in the 2nd half
Therrien's job doesn't seem in danger for now. A few wins will help confirm his job( MP:what about a few losses?)
Savard says he appreciates the job done by his coach who is doing everything to find solutions for the team's problems.
-----------------------
Pretty close to a vote of confidence eh?

What the heck is that? AS is satisfied because MT is working hard? Dear Andre, the guy before you, Rejean Houle, was also a hard worker with an infinite passion fort the team, but that didn't stop him from being incompetent. It takes more than just hard work. I hate it when they treat us like imbeciles.

every single time i read a trish thornton article it's bad mouthing the habs, and calling down something or another about them, she disgusts me. ofcourse she's on the fire therrien bandwagon, she's also on the hate every player on the habs, and say how bad every one of them is too, her articles are disgusting, i've yet to read this one, but i'm sure it's horrible too. sure therrien sucks, but her writing an article about it just makes me like therrien more.

oh god, this article is almost as much of a joke as the other ones i read of hers. she's totally a huge Dykhuis fan, and can't see why he was ever sat!!! and can't figure out why karl was taken off the first pairing for Traverse who's been twice as good this year (doesn't say alot aobut Traverse who sucks too). She obviously doesn't watch a lot of habs games, just catches the highlights and reads the boxscores.
she even contradicts herself to make her opinions seem correct or something, i really really don't enjoy her columns very much as u might have noticed.
today she says "Bulis, Joe Juneau and Andy Dackell were the real thing, a line that was going to be known in every hockey town. Especially since Bulis had found a bit of a scoring touch"
a month ago she says "Joe Juneau, Andreas Dackell and Jan Bulis remain my favourite line. But when they create a 3-on-1 or a 2-on-1, it usually ends with Bulis and his hands like black strap molasses on a cold day missing the net. A great play with no finish"

Therrien made the Espn coaching top 22 (out of 30) coaches in the league:
22 (tie). Michel Therrien, Montreal Points: 267 Why: Game management needs work ... Has that great French-Canadian passion, maybe too much. Has done a good job with what he has ... His teams play hard, no sign he's a good bench coach ... If the Habs don't make the playoffs this year, he will take the fall ... Is he a great coach or does he have a great goaltender? ... A few too many rants, but has potential if he switches to decaf ... He has had this team overachieving more often than not ... Didn't receive the credit deserved for the Habs, against all odds, striding into the second round of the playoffs ... A nice story, the former telephone company worker climbed through the ranks ... Makes players play at their top level.

what does ESPN know about hockey? ;D I am pretty sure IF TSN made a pool like that MT would be in the bottom 5

It's lines like these that drive me nuts: www.cyberpresse.ca/reseau/sports/0301/spo_103010179152.htmlMichel Therrien, enfin, fait du bon travail derrière le banc même s'il n'arrive pas à tirer le maximum de chacun de ses joueurs. ''Michel Therrien, has done a good job behind the bench even if he can't get the maximum from each of his players'' If he is doing such a good job then why can't he get the maximum out of his players? uh? Isn't that one of the jobs of a coach?
