you forgot Hainsey ;D Is Selanne really a free agent again? I thought he signed a 2 year deal Those lines look good My main concern with Gratton as 4th line center...another small center...Koivu-Perreault-JJ-Gratton...yikes Fixed the Hainsey thing. Selanne signed a one-year deal. They offered two. Gratton vs. Ribeiro? I mean, if we were talking about Van Allen or someone I'd understand, but Gratton's got more sandpaper in his game than Ribs by a wide margin.

JV, from the Sharks web site: www.sjsharks.com/sharks/news/20020705-1025916400.htm''Selanne's contract is for next year, with a player option for a second season. San Jose would have liked to have the second season guaranteed from a team standpoint, but isn't too concerned about the one-year out.'' And this quote: ''He wants to continue the progress he made in the second half and just wants to make sure," said Lombardi. "If things go the way they did the second half, it shouldn't be a big issue. With what he is concerned about, I am not worried. It is not money related. It is totally a case of making sure that he still fits in." With the Sharkies struggling...Teemu may want to go elsewhere... I wonder if Saku is a good brainwasher

selanne/saku/zednik would be a dream line. i remember saks with teemu in the olympics in nagano, man were they great. hopefully saku gets him to really think about it, then AS works some magic, so we get him. as for the game last night, i thought the first line played great, but brisebois was once again awful. i was lucky enough to watch the canucks/habs game the other night from fairly good seats, and one thing i really noticed was how good bulis is becoming. more so than both saku and zednik combined did this guy forecheck fast and furious on the vancouver defenders. he was really quick, and never caught out of position defensively. i really like the way he's been playing on the top line, and until we can pick up someone over the offseason to play on the top line, i dont think there is anyone more suited for the job than jan.

Speaking of next year's lineup...
After seeing Perezhogin tonight..
If he signs a deal over the summer and comes over...
...Wouldn't surprise me if he impresses everyone and starts with the Habs. Man he impressed me. Composed kid as well...Canadians tried to rough him up a few times and Alex did not retaliate
and before you ask, yes I got over, him basically costing us a gold medal with his passes...
