as of tonight we've sunk down to 8th place in the eastern conference standings, if we can't manage to beat calgary tomorrow we'll likely get passed by pittsburgh and carolina by the time we play again on the 2nd. i guess it's still early and there's not much to worry about but this team needs to learn to hold on to their leads a bit better, it seems like every game we take the lead, and we surrender it in the 2nd or third, and lose. we can't just sit back, we have to pad our lead a lot better, then once we're up by 3 we can think about playing a defensive layed back game, although i still wouldn't advise it, because we're awful at it.

There's still alot of hockey to be played boys...
Honestly i can't even remember the last time i checked the standings!
I remember looking at the Habs schedule a few weeks back and i think things are going to get a bit easier (at least on paper) in the next few weeks.
