Once again, by braking the season down into chunks, we see that the HAb's have stayed on course. We may see a surprising loss or win, but over the course of sixteen games, they have stayed in contention.

They have 38 points and they need 42 points to stay in the thick of things. They will hopefully get these points in the next three games. Now they are 38 points out of 35 games which equalls 89 points. Good for 7th or 8th spot.
The way this Sour Sixteen started, thank the hockey Gods they started to get their heads screwed on straight. Could it be we missed the Kloucek deal because Savard thought theat Theo might tank? Mind you, Theo can still put together some stinkers.
Here I was predicting 96 points at the beginning of the season. One winning streak away? *prays*
Considering the horrible start they had and that only Hackett stood between them and oblivion, it's not that bad. On the other hand, if the six million dollar goaltender woke up at the startt of the season, we may had 4 to 6 points more.
What's left?
Fri. Dec. 27, Montreal Canadiens @ Ottawa Senators 7:00 PM (45% win )
Sat. Dec. 28, Montreal Canadiens @ Pittsburgh Penguins 7:00 PM (60% win )
Tue. Dec. 31, Montreal Canadiens @ Calgary Flames 8:00 PM (60% win )
Go Habs Go

One more thing. I am going on February 1st to the next Bulldogs game. That is a quarter of a season later and should give some idea of Komi's progress (amongst others). If the Hab's trade for a great prospect, then I may try to see him at an earlier date, if possible.
