What did you think of Patty Marleau the other night when the Sharks played the Habs?

All I have to say is he was due for a bust out year and it looks like he is having one.

Yeah. He picked right up from where he left off last season. The reason I made this post was because Doc really likes Marleau and I wanted to find out what he thought of Marleau the other night when the Sharks played the Habs.

marleau's wicked, i thought he was gonna be on fire to start the season after last years playoffs but for the first couple weeks he was in a slump, now he's burning it up again, good stuff. sharks have been my 2nd fav team since the 94 playoffs, although it's not as fun to cheer for them now that they're no longer the under dog. too bad we couldnt have gotten our hands on marleau.

Too bad they had to pull a Habs and blow a 3-1 lead with under 10 minutes to go yesteday in Toronto

What a total package... One on one he's a formidable opponent.
I am happy to see him take the next step as people we starting to wonder...
Sharks got an excting player for a long, long time.

Patty is also a regular at the Shaun Van Allen charity golf tourney in Shaunavon every summer. Good to see a young guy like Pat be civic minded and give of his time in his summer for worthwhile causes like this.

I'm really impressed with the guy. I was happy to get him as a late round pick, in my pool, after seeing him turn it on late last season, and in the playoffs. I was a bit worried after his slow start, but he's really come into his own over the last couple of months.
October: 10 games played, 0 goals, 4 assists = 4 pts
Nov-Dec: 23 games played: 15 goals, 11 assists = 26 points
Keep it up Patty!!!

I might support my home team, but not when they play the Leafs. I would have preferred the Leafs to win, but since they couldn't I will have to live with the tie. That was better than the Leafs losing to the Sharks. It doesn't matter to me that the Leafs have been in the Eastern Conference since the 98/99 season. I still consider the Sharks rivals of the Leafs, so I would be happiest if the Leafs always beat the Sharks.

I know you like Marleau, so I was curious to see what you thought of him when the Sharks played the Habs last week. He started out the season a little slow, but after a few weeks he got the fire back. It took him a while but he is finally turning into the player I thought he could be and that the Sharks thought he could be. He would be a nice addition to the Leafs. They could use someone like him.
