Great game by Theodore, the PP clicks and hopefully juneau is OK 2 more points. Theo's GAA going down and save% going up. Life is good. Except for Audette getting so much ice time

Damn we would be in trouble.
Would Kilger return to center the 3rd line? Bulis-Kilger-Dackell
One of Hossa/Ward/Gratton called up to fill out other lines?

It's like the US Airforce vs the Taliban. The shots on goal don't correspond to the goals scored again. Theo and Hack can only keep us in the running for so long................... I'm really happy with the results of our recent games, but it doesn't indicate that we are a powerhouse or getting better. Theo is getting better and that is cause for small celibration.

I saw the Barnaby hit on JJ from another angle...no doubt Juneau has a concussion IMO. That was one dirty hit right to the head by Barnaby.
Hopefully Juneau only misses a game or two. We need him.

I have NHL center ice, and they were saying that after Juneau was taken off the ice, he fell in the runway. I would bet it's a concussion. Just what the freakin hell was the ref watching? He was right there, yet no call, and they score to rob Theo of a SO which he should have got. What a bunch of crap. I was hoping Therrien would send Blouin after Barnaby, cause he took out a player we can't replace. As for the game. Shots on goal? Who gives a crap, how many of those shots were quality chances? I thought the Habs played a very good road game. They kept the rangers to the outside, and with the exception of some running around they clogged up the netural zone very effectivly and the PK was solid. No way does that PK look like the 29th PK in the league. They were all over the netural zone, and kept the rangers out of their end while using good positioning to kept the scoring chances out of the slot. Very patient game. Well played, IMO. Edit: I have to give credit to Theo, as he did look sharp, and has played better lately. Good to see.

I've seen the goon show barnaby put on JJ a number of times now and that was vicious. Both elbows high to the head against the glass. Has to be a suspension. It's unbelievable that the refs didn't call anything and let the play continue. Problem is that the league won't do anything unless JJ is hurt and we can't afford to lose him as that line has been our most consistant all season.
Anyone else notice how injuries around the league have picked up. it's almost as though they hit the wall. anyway our so called depth is about to be put to the test. Let's hope we see some call ups. I'm anxious to see Hainsey and Hossa again to see how they have developed.

Glad to see that Theo is showing signs of turning the corner. Marc's prediction came true....3 to 1 win for Habs...way to go dude With regards to Juneau, I had a feeling while watching the game, that he was a target. He was hit many times last night. He had a hard time making it to the bench a few times. Did anyone else notice? Juneau is very effective at shutting down the opponents top line, I wouldn't be surprised if Trottier ordered his goons to take him out. Trottier was a dirty player (remember the hit on Gainey!!!) , and is now a dirty coach! Good for him that his team is loosing. Gilmour! man, I love that guy! 7 pts in the last three games. For everyone demanding that we sit him? In your face! (In a nice way , of course)

Yes, but gladly. Where Theo goes, so does the team. Right. Marc started the entire thread off with "Great game by Theodore". How often have we heard that before? We simply have to get another game-plan in my honest opinion. Cheers.

I am eating my crow in his case I won't let you eat that alone, I'll have a giant serving of that crow pie. It's the second year in a row that Dougie does this...plays like crap for months and suddenly burst. Him and Perreault are working great together. Not too sure who could complement that line well (Ward comes to mind ) but we have 2 offensive duos that works now.

Didn't get to see the game, but that hit by Barnaby, I can't condone that. I like that we've picked up our physical game, but those kind of hits are unnecessary. Are the Habs pushing for league review? They could probably get him suspended for a game or two. Theo's rounding into form... not good for us or the rest of the Conference.

I read that Savard did contact the league about the hit, but I doubt he gets suspended (as Juneau only has a mild concussion ) but it was a dirty hit, and I have no ideal what the hell the refs were looking at while they let Juneau lay there and the man he was covering walked in and scored. I would keep an eye on that Dywer kid. He was hitting everything.

Every time the HABS send a tape to the league about a dirty..never does the player get a suspension or rarely a fine...
It's a joke...the Markov incidents, the Juneau incident,etc

i dont wanna sound like theo fleury but COME ON, the refs have been absolutely brutal with us this year, and either its a CONSPIRACY or the NHL are just completely chicken and or ignorant to do anything about it!
