I'm sorry to hear that, Marc. I hope it isn't too serious.

Oleg's my fave Hab, he's been durable for us since we brought him back, here's hoping the best.

Tough break for Oleg as he was starting to turn his season around recently.
But good opportunity for others...this is where we see our ''depth''...

I agree... time to see what our farm system can do for us. Bring on the kids and let them run amok, let them make mistakes, let them learn... let them become the studs we need to create another contender from Montreal.

I'm kinda hoping that someone will get called up but it's not going to happen because we've got about $5 million sitting on the bench most of the time in Chow and Rat Face, so one of them will get more ice time... probably Rat Face because he isn't as lazy as Chow and he's french (no offense to the french members of the board but if the team has to make a decision between two equally bad players, they will give the francophone player the first shot to improve and I've got no problem with that although I would prefer if they brought up some one from hamilton, maybe Ward, and give them 3 weeks to see what they can do, they'll definately add some spark, neither Chow or Rat Face have the desire to do)

No way we see any farm animals among the forwards. Too much livestock up here as it is. Audette and Czerk get to squabble over the 6 minutes of ice time Petrov was getting on the 4th with spot duty on the second line.
I have a bad feeling that two consecutive games without a point is bad news for Mr. Kilger. I don't like it, but I can see Therrien concluding that "the experiment failed". I hope I'm wrong.

In the lineup, expect to see Czerkawski or Lindsay duke it out for 4th line ice time On the 23 man roster, I expect Hainsey to be called up to give us a 7th D and *hopefully* push Dykhuis out.

You're not the only one. I like Kilger and I hope they keep him on the top line. MThead don't fail the team now and don't let the media push you to put Audi aka Maudi on the first line (he plays like a chick, no offense to any female hockey players, my daughter plays hockey too).

Put Hainsey out with Rivet. Is it just me or has Rivet become the defacto mentor for young d-men on the team.

or Hainsey with Brisebois
Or even Hainsey with Quintal should do better than earlier this year when Q was playing bad hockey(he has picked it up)
Anything to get Dykhuis out of the lineup! and if Hainsey comes up, give him some PP time this time! Traverse and especially Rivet are bad on the PP points..

I couldn't stand breezeby before, but when I realized how much ice time this guy logs (similar to Redden on the Sens) I decided to cut him some slack.

RDS says at least 2 weeks:
Oleg Petrov ratera deux semaines L’attaquant du Canadien, Oleg Petrov, ratera au moins deux semaines d’activités lui qui a subi une entorse ligamentaire au genou droit. En 30 parties cette saison, Petrov a inscrit six buts et a amassé 11 passes.

TSN did a little interview with MT before the SJ game and it doesn't sound like Chad's coming off the 1rst line for awhile. In fact MT made it sound like coming up with the idea of putting size out there with Kilger on the 1rst line and McKay on the 2nd came to him by something close to divine inspiration Now if he would just have another "inspiration" and stop giving Ratdog and Traverse all the prime PP mins that would take care of just about the only complaints I have for the last 6-7 games

Do you remember his exact words? Divine Inspiration . Not common sense, not reasoned logic, not historical research which shows good lines often have a 'plumber' on them. Nope. Divine inspiration. Say, anyone have a pipeline to the Gods? We should be encouraging them to whisper some more into MT's ear. " Go for a walk in the snow.....walk in the snow....go, now".

What a bunch of crap from Red Fisher. I like how he blames Markov for the Sharks first goal, but somehow Chad Kilger gets no blame. Funny how Red is always patting himself on the back with Kilger's recent play, but makes an omission when Kilger makes a major mistake. See Red, your pal Chad, he left his point to go after a puck that was in deep. Fine, but when you gamble and lose, then your player is wide open. I have no problem with Kilger going after that puck, but when you do, you have to get the puck, and if you don't, then there's going to be a problem. Does this team even pratice in there own end? I mean, one thing goes wrong and all of the sudden we look like chickens with our heads cut off. Everyone is running around (or falling down in Traverse's case, as someone should buy him a new pair of skates this christmas). They just look so confused in their own end. They should just turn and fire the puck out of the zone. I know that's not very smart or skillful, but panic seems the norm in our own end if the puck is in our end for more then 30 seconds.

Another FIRE MT AND RG thread has erupted first the divine inspiration of MT leads to the total dissaray in the defensive zone. JV i sure hope the plan you foresee is the reality of the situation because right now that light is the only thing i'm hanging onto at the end of this tunnel.
