I'd go with Theo...let him build on his 2 last games...

Yup, Theo is the number one and he seemed to have found his game. Let him play.

It,s a busy week with 3 more games. Let hackett take the 2nd of the back to back games & have Theodore finish the week.

Hack.
He hasn't done anything to lose his placement in the rotation. Keep him sharp, and the both of them rested.

Keep him sharp, and the both of them rested. Yes thats a good point. Keep them both rested because we have a huge road trip coming up.

Good points but MT seems to go with the hot hand and the guy who wins.

I'd go with Theo even though he might be fatigued. He just got 2 of the biggest wins here, against Boston and Ottawa, that is just awesome. He looked very sharp today, I say ride him and build on his confidence, then even possibly go back with Theo the next game too. ;D

the team is due for a bad outing. goodness knows we can't win three in a row can we? so in that case put in hackett...the last thing theo needs is to get shelled. his confidence is not back 100%. his stats are still brutal, so a big loss might put him right back where he started.
i'd play hackett...he's still our best goalie at this point and doesn't deserve to sit.

The Sharks are real used to Hackett and his ways. I think the Habs should go with Jose. If I remember right, the Sharks have only faced him once, so they have a better chance of losing to the Habs with Theodore in net than they do against Hackett in the Net. Of couse, if the Sharks are real lucky and I root for them real hard tomorrow they will beat whoever you have in net.

I think we should go with Hackett. MT has shown that the hot hand plays, but he also has shown that goalies rarely play back to back games. (2 games in 2 nights) I agree that we need to keep both goalies sharp. Theo is gaining confidence, which is good. But if he would lose tonight because of fatigue. I am not sure if this will help his confidence any. Play Hackett, he deserves icetime too. Cheers, TheHabsfan

I'd go with Hack for all of the above-mentioned reasons.

10-9 Hack, not that it matters what we think....
Why wouldn't you start Hack in a back-to-back? Had we used Hack against Ottawa, i would have voted Theo.....
"Quel arrete de THE-O-DORE...", "Finalement, sa frapper l'exterieur des but, mes Theo a bouger quand meme"..
"What a great save by Theo..." Oh, it actually hit the side of the net, but Theo moved in that direction, man he's great"....
...anybody else catch that? what a joke,

Tough call either way. No matter who Therrien goes with, many will still complain about it. Theodore's looked better lately, and Hackett has been solid all along, so either one should be able to handle the nets tonight. Sharks should be tired, as it was a physical game they played against the rangers. I watched the game during comercials, and the rangers were throwing some big time checks on the sharks. The only thing that sucked about last night, is that they gave Nabokov the night off, so he could face us. Great.

They actually screwed up a couple more times during the game. I liked the one where he said that Zed scored when in fact, the puck ended up in the security netting. ;D

The whole I idea of resting Nabby was for the games in Canada. Hopefully by Saturday the Sharks will be tired so they will lose to the Leafs. Maybe if MT had Jose in net instead of Hackett the Habs would have won tonight. Wasn't Jose in net when the Sharks lost to the Habs last season?
