Another excellent outing by young Markov we certainly have a budding superstar on our hands. He is by far the most improved player on the team. He still has a little work to do down low but I'm looking forward to seeing him develop over the next few years. Bravo Andrei HFTO

He really played a solid defensive game tonight (other than a coughup in the third, but Theo saved him). Its amazing seeing his assertiveness and confidence on the ice grow with each game.
He is a gem, and will only get better. Kudos to the scouting staff that found this guy. How did he slip down so low the year he was drafted? Unbelievable!!

Didn't see tonight's game for obvious reasons, but Markov looks to turn into one of those famous low round picks who become a real diamond in the rough... imagine how good he'll be in 2, 3, or even 5 years... wow.

and kudos to me for praising this kid ever since his rookie year ;D Seriously, Markov will be a top 10 nhl d-man before 2005 IMO. He is already pretty close to is now. And I always thought Hainsey and Komi had more potential than Markov...if they become better than him.......WOW!!!

If not top 3 in the league...... I mean who else have 3 potential number 1's who are all under 24 years old? SJ only has Stuart Oilers only have Brewer Laffs only have Kaberle Bruins have Boynton/Berard and some good but not great D prospects(jonnson and Morrisonn) Panthers have Jay Bo..but the other guys are no Hainsey's and Komi's IMO Philly is maybe the only one...Seidenberg, Kim Johnnson, Pitkanen, Wowitka, etc Things are looking up in Habsland if the prospects emerge

Markov will definetely be a super star, no doubt. I'm a fan of soviet-union hockey style (i miss the red army!) and it's a beauty to see him skates, pass, etc.. and he seems to have some character too (du chien).
I only hope he will stop diving, i think it's low.
He didn't on the Thornton shot but i think he did on Lapointe's.
But, it's the only thing i could complain about him!

Oups! Sorry about the double-post! I just did a rookie error! ; )
(it's only a tactic to catch up on Marc in posting stats).
