With so much payroll attached to czerkawski and audette and so many teams that cannot afford to add on any additional payroll, it seems that the habs will jut have to bite the bullet with these guys and wait until their contracts expire. What a shame.. you could get so much with that money.
On another note, Trevor Linden's contract comes to an end after this year.. I'm not sure how much the habs still owe on that contract but I do know that Vancouver pays 2.5 mil of his annual salary and the habs/caps pay the rest.
Also I read from a previous post that Gainey might be interested in coaching the habs but correct me if I'm wrong. Gainey does not know french and its kind of an accepted unwritten rule that the habs must have a billingual coach. Here's to hoping that the sens have another bad finish to their year and the habs can go grab Jaques Martin.. I think everybody would agree that he would be an upgrade over MT.
BTW, I don't live in montreal but are people starting to get on theodore? Are they turning on him that he cannot perform after commanding one of the richest contracts out of his age group ever? Are people close to turning on him? I must admit that I'm getting very agitated over his play... I wish him the best but you gotta live up to your salary especially on a canadian team that must spend their dollars wisely..(BTW, AS has gotta spend his money more wisely, look at what the canucks have got going with 31 million bucks.... and they are one of the most entertaining teams to watch as well.)
Well, my exams for this semester are over and I'll be on this site like a hawk once again.... for at least 3 weeks
I know I covered a lot of points but some comments out of that would be appreciated
