Anyone watching Rangers and Hawks?
The kid just gave up 2 of the softest goals I have seen a NHL goalie give up...the Rangers are going to burn this guy if they don't get him some help...I wonder what Sather is thinking...
GS: Damn, I should have accepted Hackett for Lundmark or Tjutin
*dring* *dring*
GS:Hello
..This is André Savard speaking, comment ca va Glen?
GS: grrrrrrrrrr
AS: I was watching your 75 million$ team and your kid goalie give up 2 softies...
GS: grrrr
AS: hehehe...I know how you feel ;D...try being the GM of the Habs
GS: Enough pressure here in NY...
AS: anyways...I was wondering
GS: I see you coming André...do I want Hackett..
AS: Well, since Jeff is playing so well...the price is going up
GS: what next...
AS: the only way I trade him to you is if I get some young goodies...very good young goodies
GS: ****. Does your offer of 2 weeks ago still stand?
AS: hmmmmmmm.......you know Glen....we need Kloucek as well...
Sather chokes on his cigar smoke and resigns on the spot ;D

I feel sorry for Blackburn he really is in a bad situation and there is no way he should be carrying the load for the Rangers.Hate to see his career ruined by the Rangers stupidity. HFTO

Whoa whoa whoa, calm down here... "ruined"? At 19 years old? I think we're getting just a TAD ahead of ourselves here.
And where is this 75 mil # keep coming from? 69.2!! (technically 69.177) ;D

(technically 69.177) ;D It's easier to be ruined at 19 than at 25 you know. We have some experience with very young goalies being thrust into very tough situations too quickly, Thibault got destroyed here, but he had everything in him to be a top-notch goalie for a long time. It's taken him a while in Chicago to get his play back in order, and even then I doubt he'll ever be as good as he could have been.
