it's going to be tight for most teams wire to wire. the thing that i'm most happy about, is we've hung around the playoff race so far with all the controversy and distractions. i mean if theo can find his game, gilmour gets back to last years form (he's starting to show signs, great road trip from him) and a fw other things fall into place, we'll be looking good come april.

4pts between 4th and 8th
4pts between 8th and 12th
It is so incredibly tight... One little skid get can get out of the playoff race for good.

100 goals against in 31 games? And it's not like the Rangers have had the number of blowouts the Habs have hadéé

and now no Messier.... wow, it just keeps getting better and better.
Marc, actually, we've had a few blowouts this year, Pittsburgh, Atlanta, Columbus come to mind. I don't know how this team can get blown out by Atlanta and then shut Dallas down and emerge with a tie the next night... such is the mystery (misery?) of being a Rangers fan.

2 of your blowouts were 3 goal games...when the Habs get blown out...it's 4 or 5 or 6 goals

The boys are going to have to gear up on their home record the road record is better than expected and they'll have to continue that ovwer the next month to stay close. A slightly better than .500 record won't cut it!Two tough games this week at home we could use the wins.Ideally you'd like to play .600 at home and .500 on the road to keep in contention. HFTO
