What the hell is that???
Earth to Michelle!! Earth to Michelle!!
How can a coach who knows that the habs get blasted in their defensive zone think that this line will make the habs get any better??
Granted, this line did well in terms of puck possesion in the offensive zone but whenever Phoenix got their transition going against this line, it alaways ended up in a scoring chance.
I would really like to hear the coach's reasoning for choosing such a line.

He doesn't really have a choice...
He's got to play Chow if he wants him to start producing/higher his value.
He's got to play Petrov/Audette because they'd be a waste if not used ($) and both will whine.
Blouin doesn't deserve to play.
Lindsay should be playing over Petrov/Chow, but as mentionned above, they have to play...

That line has been good
They are better defensively than Gilmour-Perreault-McKay IMO
Just replace Gilmour with Hossa and things look better

Actually, I think it's time for Perreault to sit and watch a few games. -7 WTF? His lack of effort/ability is killing us in our own end. When he's not scoring he is hurting the team, much like Audette. And since he doesn't score on the road, why play him? So I can watch him get outmuscled and outworked by the power forward Alex Tangay. I don't look forward to the boston games with him and Chow in the lineup.

But I thought Perreault was this wonderful center(Michel Bergeron's words) who always gets shafted because he plays with crappy linemates!

Jan Bulis-Saku Koivu-Richard Zednik Marcel Hossa-Yanic Perreault-Randy McKay Chad Kilger-Joe Juneau-Andreas Dackell Mike Ribeiro-Doug Gilmour-Jason Ward Now my reasoning... Move Bulis up to the 1st line as he's got better skill that Kilger. Bulis adds speed and some decent size to out top line. Bulis worked well with Zed in the past (briefly with Rosie on LW). McKay could work with Yanic as they pretty much move at the same speed. Hossa gives the line some size and skill. Kilger also had success with the Juneau/Dackell duo in the past, and i think this could also make a great checking line. Move Kilger over to center when we are facing a line with a big center (such as Joe Thornton). Fourth line would see less even-strength ice time, but Gilmour and Ribeiro would get PP time and Ward could from time to time be swapped with McKay on the 2nd line. All in all i think this lineup makes the Habs a little bigger and especially makes our top 2 lines a little bigger. We get some youthful enthusiasm into the lineup and get rid of the deadwood like Audi and Chow, and to a lesser extent Petrov...

I don't like any of Audette, Petrov or Czerkawski... but we gotta play 'em or ship 'em... Wasting big money like that isn't what Gillett [or any reasonable man] wants.

Nice, but the deadwood is not gone left and we have to play them as KG said
