Reason I ask, is I don't get to see every game living in T.O. so from everyones own observation, which is the best course of action. Numbers point to hackett being last year's Theo, and theo getting luckey last year, especially with the game tonight (SAT) and last night where is was a shoot out, again.

hackett's been playing better than theo all year, but theo is still the goalie of the future for the habs. theo's brain cramps will eventually end and he will show his true form, hopefully sooner than later.

Hack's playing great right now but sooner or later Theo will/has to come out of it and be the future. Maybe biting the bullet on Audette might be an option but biting it on Theo is a whole other story.

Well Theo is the future no doubt. But no way do I go with Theo on Tuesday at boston, if I were MT. I would go with the goalie that has a 2.4gga over the goalie that has a 3.8 gaa. but thats just me. I don't think Therrien will do it though. They are giving Theo every chance to climb out of this. I don't mind though, as we will get a better draft pick that way.

Go with Hack for now(the next 3 games against the Booins twice and the Bolts), give Theo a start against a mediocre/average team the next time we face one.
I also believe the team plays a much better team game in front of Hackett. Anyone else agree?

Also, Pedneault raised a good point on last night's broadcast.
Pretty much every good goalie has had a time in their career when they couldn't stop a beach ball. Their confidence became nil and they had to re-gain their form on their own and it turned out to be good for their career to go through some adversity. We could be looking back on Theodore's slump a year or two from now and say it was the turning point of his career or at least made him realise what he to do to remain an elite goalie. I always say the talent eventualy rises to the top and eventually Theodore will be back on track because he is too talented to keep on sucking some major a$$

I would not mind sending him in the AHL for a conditionning period of 4-5 back-to-back games. This would be very good for him IMHO. We all know it is only a matter of time. Heck he already is as good as last year but the problem is that he lasts only 2 period!

and the team is giving up tons of scoring chances. Even more than most of the time last year
