As BC said on the prospects board. Plus he is not Hamilton since he is listed as a scratch(teams usually don't scratch a top pairing d-man for no reason)
We have no injuries, hmm...does this mean a trade? someone getting released?
I bet Lindsay gets released. Just so we can get back to 7 D again. But hopefully this time Hainsey does play more than he did(hint: POWER PLAY time would be nice)

Lyle Richardson from Spector's hockey had an interesting point regarding this specific issue. He speculates that since Souray is out indefinitely that AS will need to move and get a solid d-man. It also states that Hainsey could come up and do the job. I can see that. But really, we need to replace Souray with a tough defenseman, not an offensive guy. What Spector says, and I think it makes sense, is that Hainsey could be called up to step in cause if AS makes a trade for a rugged defenseman, we would likely have a defenseman going the other way, thus opening a spot for Hainsey. I just hope it happens. I would love to see Hainsey back up and get a real chance. So what if he makes a few mistakes. I would rather live with his blunders than live with guys who do the same mistakes game in game out. Cheers, TheHabsfan

Same here. If we are patient with this guy we will be rewarded. Can we say that about Dykhuis? Traverse? Quintal?
I would love to see Hainsey with us+ tough d-man added

RDS confirmed it tonight
Looks like he might play if Markov goes down

From the look of pain on Markov's face at the end of the game, I doubt he will play tomorrow night in PHO. Hainsey will probably get his shot. But again, I am hoping that AS pulls the trigger on a couple of fronts: 1. MT and RG have gotta go 2. We need a big tough D cheers, TheHabsfan

but Markov is a tough ombre so ya never know.
He didn't go directly to the locker room. He just stayed in the hall that leads to the bench.
Damn I hate such a late night game. No news because all the media covering the Habs are off the air or have other shows on

Agreed.....I'd love to see Hainsey up with the big boys again. It was unfortunate that a couple early season blunders led him to ease up on the offense that he easily demonstrated in pre-season. Notwithstanding, we do need some stronger d-men. Evidence of that was in Colorado....and for that matter the last few games. I remain a big theo fan...but a lot of the goals his one step off and the d=men are two steps off....poor coverage!. Unfortunately....i don't have any solutions right now.

Same here. Theodore is showing signs of breaking out of this slump but with this defence it's just setting him back.
Do something quick AS!
In the MTL papers no mention of Markov's injuries so hopefully he is OK
