Hainsey Shoots left, Traverse Shoots left..
Hainsey Canadiens' first pick (13th overall) 2000...
Traverse 2000-01: Acquired by the Canadiens from the Boston Bruins on February 21, in return for Eric Weinrich...First game in a Canadiens uniform February 23 at Washington.
I bet the bruins are laughing they're * off.
I'm looking at Hainsey's stats, no goals no assists, played 9 games.
Traverse on the other hand played 17, 3 assists and sucks overall.
I watched every game but I don't understand why were playing Traverse instead of a good hitter and player like Hainsey. I wish I had a sheet with all the icings Traverse did while we were on PP, or better yet the number of turn-overs.
For the 9 games we played Hainsey, was he really worse that what we are witnessing with Traverse? When was the last time Traverse got a good clean hit and didn't lure a penalty out of it for crosschecking ? (6 PIMs, so I take it he must have near 3 hits in his 17 games played).
Anyway, if Hainsey is not injured, he should be playing against Philie period. This Traverse crap has gone long enough.
If anyone knows why this switch hasn't been done yet please let me know because the strategy in here doesn't make any sens.
OT: thanks for the welcome Marc, glad I found these boards to share and interact with real fans.. my next rant will most likely be against the french commentators on RDS blaming Petrov for everything and talking about everything but the hockey game.
