Rats, couldn't Zednik have put Dykhuis out for a few weeks so we can get Hainsey back up ;D

don't forget the point he cost us against the Pens when he totally goofed up with ''big and tough'' Kovalev coming hard on him, promting Dykhuis to chicken away from a surefire icing call and give Kovalev a great scoring chance which led to a goal...

Players openly criticizing the coach
Players publicly nailing struggling teammates
Veterans fighting during practice
...they call that a "team"...
pitiful.

Was it a real fight? Like with fists? Or was it just gum-flapping like "Oh yeah? And your mascara's on backwards".
I just wish I'd hear about a fight in practice where 6 or 7 of the players beat on MT.

...looks like Dykhuis was in trouble there... Zed seems to be quite a handfull. Karl can thank Breezer for his quick intervention...

I heard something about Koivu being tripped during a drill, and I "guess" that Zednik took exception to it and had some words for Dykhuis on the bench, so they threw some punches, I think. Dykhuis spoke with the press and said it was no big deal. Zednik wouldn't talk to the press. And Therrien said it was like 2 brothers fighting.

I wonder how AS will handle it. He will probably just hide under a pile of coats and hope everything works out on its own.

Karl Dykhuis finally hit someone? Good for him! Now the next step is to make sure he knows to do it to guys wearing a different sweater, Karl!

I had a look at a replay of the fight and noticed a couple of things: neither player dropped their gloves - I'm guessing that because it was a teammate they were hoping this would not be an official fight but there were some head shots although a ref in a game would have given 2 each for roughing or maybe double minors; and it seemed to me that Zednik was the instigator and that Dyke wanted no part of it - could be for a number of different reasons 1) he knew he was in the wrong; 2) he was scared of Zed; 3) he does not want to go with our star player as he knows who is being shipped out if they are irreconciliable; 4) Dyke doesn't believe in fighting a teammate. I'm hoping it's the latter.

I saw it and it looked like a shoving match after a whistle near a net.
It has been blown way out of proportion
