Please AS do something...we don't have any Spirit and you know it's your fault...there can't be any spirit right now because to many players are in competition for the same chair on your team...I won't discuss the D and the goalies...
Up front there is 12 chairs...9 that the coatches( here I am referring on the average in the NHL) 3 lines and either a checking line or a youth line ( we now by today have 1/2 of each...someone there is sitting in the wrong chair)
Fight # 1 : 1st line RW...Audette+say Chow,Petrov,
Fight# 2 : 2nd line center...Perreault,Gilmour and Ribiero pushing
Fight # 3 : 2nd line LW...Gilmour(Where he is right now),Bulis (where he should be),Ribiero(His chance are better on LW than at center) and let's add up Hossa from the farm( he should be mad of playing in LAH instead of NHL)
Fight # 4 : one spot on the 3rd line( here I mean 3rd line is not set it's open to all the one who don't take 1 of the 1st 6 chairs)...we have manyssssss suitorsssss ( here is where I invite Ward to sit )
Fight # "*? : The HABSRUS communoty fighting for the solution
Fight # 5 : they don't fight they are to small ( chair 1 to 9 )
Fight # 6 :2nd line RW...a tough call...many suitor left fom the 1st RW fight
Fight # 7 :3rd line center...I don't give that chair to Juneau
Fight # xyz : there is to mutch fight inside you can't have a team concept when players are thinking of yeach other chair

Time to deal a forward or two for some help on D.
Trading one of Chow/Audette/Petrov will be addition by substraction because whoever leaves will help improve the dressing room(fewer malcontents) and whoever stays will play better knowning they are regulars.
Then, we need to make a decision on Gilmour. He is clearly not happy playing LW and he may be preventing Saku from taking control of the dressing room.

I read in the Ottawa Sun today that there are four separate cliques in the dressing room. That should come to no surprise as the Montreal media have been reporting this for a week now.
However, according to, ahem, Bruce Garrioch, all four cliques have the same agenda; fire Therrien.
Firstly, it doesn't make any sense that the players would break themselves off into four separate cliques just to share a common goal.
Secondly, it's Bruce Garrioch. It's probably the only way he can get his name associated with the latest media-driven controversy.
Go figure the odds. Cheers.

Time to deal a forward or two for some help on D. . One will be gone B4 dark tomorrow for a draft pick to the columbus or a 2 for 1 from TFP Columbus, which had three scouts at the Senators' game last night against Montreal at the Corel Centre

Zednik - Koivu - McKay
Bulis - Perrault - Czerkawski
Juneau - Gilmour - Dackell
Kilger - Ribeiro - Ward
Petrov, Lindsay
Deal Audette and Blouin for anything.
First line has perfect balance, and you rotate Petrov in every 2nd or 3rd game, giving McKay a break, so that his battered and aging body will be okay for the playoffs, which is what Savard got him for in the first place. Don't worry about him now, you want him for April. Neither Petrov nor McKay is liable to complain about a reduced ice time, its not in their nature, and neither one of them has any alternative options.
Second line is still weak, but its always going to be weak, no matter what you do. Perrault racks up his points, Czerkawski is the most talented (overall) of our softish right-wingers, and Bulis provides some speed, a little bit of jam (just a little) and a defensive conscience.
Third line is your checking line, full of veterans. Gilmour gets prime ice time in his beloved center position, with little pressure to score some points. Like a Kirk Muller or something. Lots of veterans at his age turn from pure offensive players, to respected veteran, defensive leaders. Dougie has nothing left to prove offensively, if he plays 17-20 minutes in a defensive role, people will love him. Plus, Juneau and Dackell are good enough offensively to throw a scare into any top line that gets lazy in the offensive zone.
Fourth line is your kiddy line. Give them 6-10 minutes, and hope they don't hurt you too much. Take out Ribeiro and throw in Lindsay when you are looking for an energy line. With Lindsay and Ward on the ice, slow though they are, you know they are going to hit anything they catch. Kilger should follow their example.
1st PP defense: Markov - Brisebois 2nd PP defense: Ribeiro - Rivet
1st PK: Juneau-Dackell 2nd PK: Gilmour - Kilger
Everybody gets ice time (with the exception of Ward, Lindsay and Blouin, but who cares), and you have some kids playing real roles, where not only can they develope, but they are learning from established veterans who can cover for them. Bulis doesn't have to produce, because Perrault always produces anyways, and if the line goes cold, people will blame Czerkawski. Ribeiro gets safe ice time on the 2nd PP, where his vision and passing should match up well against opposing team's second line PKers. Plus he is paired with a reliable veteran, in Rivet. Kilger gets groomed for the 3rd line center/checking winger duties, and he plays 30 seconds with Doug Gilmour on every penalty kill. Enough time to get some confidence and learn a thing or two, but not enough to make any serious mistakes.
Works for me. Everybody is playing in their proper position, everybody is getting the ice time they need, in the situations they should theoretically excel in, there are no malcontent veterans whining in the press because of their lack of ice time, everybody has a clear and established role, and if injuries strike, there is the possibility for some prospects to make some immediate, safe and limited appearances with the big club. Would anybody be worried about seeing Marcel Hossa play 5-10 games on the second line iif Czerkawski gets injured? Size on every line, defensive conscience on every line, no controversy, happy players, productive players. Habs win Cup.
Your welcome.

Too simple BC though I may like to stack the first line with Chow. Bulis IMO deserves the chance to move up to see what he can do. HFTO

The way I see it...BC eliminates a problem(Gilmour playing center) and creates another(Juneau doesn't want to be a left winger).
But the rest looks decent enough.
