Fire away.Note...it's not SHOULD he be fired...it's WILL he be fired
I refuse to believe the MTL media will continue to give MT such a free ride; eventually he'll start getting some blame and the calls for his head will come out.

There playing 500 hockey and Theo has been terrible and there in a playoff spot. While i think getting rid of MT would make all the difference it ain't going to happen until they lose 5 or 6 in a row and they are well below 500 and out of a playoff spot.

yeah but if they lose 6-2 or close to that...to ATLANTA The MTL media has been surprisingly quiet on the fire MT front for some reason...maybe getting trashed by one of the worst teams in hockey would make them change their minds....

It might mean that people start talking about firing MT, but it won't mean that he loses his job the next day.
It might be the beginning of the end for him, but it won't be flat-out goodbye, even if we lose 7-2 to them.

MT gets fired only if either of these two scenarios occurs
1) Savard is told either he goes or you go.
2) MT is caught red handed with an Uzi, a copy of Bin Laden's autobiography, a feverish look in his eye and a map of Ottawa with an 'X' marking 24 Sussex Drive.

If Therrien can make it through December as our coach, he stands a good chance to be here all season, cause Decemeber like last season is a tough month, with many games on the road against tough teams. We got boston 3 times in 3 weeks, and our defence/Theo play like they have been, boston will smoke us.
December @dal, @avs, @coyotes, @bos, TB, Bos, @ott, SJ, @nyr, Buf, @nyi, @ott, @pitt, @cal. 14 games from december 4th to 31st. 4 at home 10 on the road, and 5 divison games, 9 against eastern teams, 5 against western team (3 of the 5 are very tough games).
So my opinion, is that if you want to see Therrien fired, it looks like december could be the end for him, unless somehow the PK, Theo, and our defence all the sudden get much better or they start paying off teams.

I doubt he will go after a loss to Atlanta but he maybe gone by mid December. The schedule is even more brutal than Novembers and unfortunately he survived my perdiction of mid November thanks to Jeff Hackett. MT should have been replaced before the season, unfortunately another season will have to be lost before we get our wish. HFTO
