This irresponsible reporting tics me off

I've been reading elsewhere that there's another dressingroom controversy in Montreal. Go figure the odds
According to Pierre Maguire, Doug Gilmour is the disruptive influence in the dressing room this year. Maguire figures that Gilmour said that he, himself, should be playing and JoƩ Juneau sitting out.
It has nothing to do with the respect I have for Gilmour and Juneau guys, but I honestly feel there is nothing that can tear apart a team more than this type of irresponsible reporting! This really tics me off to no end. All this serves to do is bias the readers and fans, create a further division in the dressing room, and of course, put Maguire front and centre of the contoversy as the resident expert. Me thinks this is probably what Maguire's agenda all along. Jacques Demers can put himself in the same category as Maguire. Only his report cited four separte cliques on the team.
Let's just say for conversation's sake that Maguire is right and Gilmour isn't happy that he is no longer the top dog. Well, he was miffed in Toronto when the Leafs brought Mats Sundin into the fold. Gilmour ceased to be the go-to guy after Sundin showed up and his play ebbed as a result.
If Killer, or any other player, needs to be reminded by someone in authority, then I have no problem with that at all. However, me thinks Therrien hasn't the parts to handle situations like this. I'd hate to see Savard become involved. He's addressed the team twice already this year and that speaks volumes about Therrien's ability, ahem, inability to handle conflict.
Coming full circle on you, guys, this type of trype shouldn't be publicized. It serves nothing but to destroy a team. But Maguire and Demers could care less, so long as they are acknowledged as the know-all authorities. Don't get me wrong guys, I think the two of them are impressive hockey authorties, but it's coming across like a "look-and-listen-to-me-me-me" type of scenario. Could be wrong but that's how I feel.
Cheers.
