Well we’ve hit the quarter pole already in the 02/03 season and it seems like just yesterday there was a high level of impatience on the board to just get on with the season already. ... MORENice job Viper...and thank you! CO

Like it, Viper, and to echo others, danke!
I'd like to think Gilmour is going to get better, but even though he is my favourite player on the club, I have to admit to the obvious. I just can't see him being back next year. He, Quintal, and Dykhuis seem to be the marked men on the club by many posters. I think Gilmour is now starting to find his stride. I don't think he'll rack up the numbers, but he provides us character.
Karl Dykhuis is having a terrible season. I'm seriously hoping that he comes back to the form that made him our +/- leader for the past two seasons. He's still got two years remaining on his contract but I can't see him sticking around all that long if he continues on his present course.
I think there was a major negative right from pre-season. Mike Ribeiro seemed to have found his touch, stride, what have you, but was injured before the season started. I think his development into a bonafide NHLer really wasn't given a chance. That's the game I guess, but I think he would have still been in the lineup today had he remained healthy.
There are many pluses this year. Firing Therrien seems to be more of an obession than anything else. At firing Rick Green. I have to admit, that I haven't seen as many games as I would have liked this year, so I'm really not qualified to judge our coaching staff (as if I would be otherwise, sheesh!). However, I've noticed this year is that there haven't been as many bench related minors on us. That's really not much to say, just an observation I guess.
Another positive you've hit on is Jan Bulis. I'm really glad this guy decided to turn it up an knotch this year. I hadn't given up on him, but his future was looking somewhat cloudy with the talent we have coming up. But, he's a trooper I guess.
The goaltending remains our brightest position. While there's nothing wrong with that, it has been our brightest position for years now. We've increased the talent on the team, no doubting that, but we're still missing that one important player that can grab everyone by the short and curleys and then back it up on the ice. Oh, and keep Hackett.
However, I like the research you did for your article Viper. You did a lot of it and it certainly shows. That, more than anything, is very much appreciated.
Thanks again. Cheers.

That was a very interesting article and I hope to see many more.
Hey Viper, are you trying to push us old guys out of the way? *cries*
Anyone else want to write an article? Montreal? HabsRus use to have a bunch of writers that wrote articles and columns but they seem have misplaced their quills.
Again Vipe, good work and keep them coming.

Hey Viper, good article, I'm guessing you want Therrien fired? ;D As for writing something about our prospects, I can have it done in a few days, as I already was working on that for myself (too much free time, and its my favorite subject) it was Viper's ideal, and it was funny that he sent me a message with the ideal, as I was in the middle of working on something about our Swedish prospects when I got the message over at HF.
