Just wanted to add an update to Ferland's stats since I just thought of it. He played tonight against Hab prospect Christian Larrivee. Ferland picked up his 16th goal, 32pt in 18 games, and Larrivee picked up 2 goals.

No. That's gotta be a record for the shortest post ever - at least by BC !!! I happen to be of the same opinion, though.

Believe me when I say that was not a thought out reaction. Just a reflex. I’m surprised that a shoe didn’t come flying out of my monitor. LOL Are you sure BC? Are you really, REALLY sure that Komi should not be converted to a winger? After all, he is just a defenseman and defensemen are not really glamorous. Not really. In one year he will be ready to terrorize the puck plumbers and join the fly boys.

HA, If his play on the weekend is an indication of his skills on offense i would bring him in right now. His size alone would add a huge element to our forward core not to mention because he's a converted d-man he would pose much less of a defensive risk on the second line then someone like Audette and would be equally as able to replace a lindsay or a blouin on the fourth Maybe this is just a pipe dream for us though

RW's McKay, Audette, Dackell, Czerkawski, Balej, Milroy, Perezhogin, Ferland, Ward, O'Dette, Selig, Murray, Buturlin, Thinel, Anger, Staal, Odjick ?, Vertala ?, Lw's Zednik, Kilger, Bulis, Lindsay, Blouin, Kilger, Hossa, Larrivee, Chouinard, Eneqvist, Marois, Ryder, Ujick We're talking about the future here so the guy over 30 doesen't count Out: Mckay, Audette, Dackell, Czerkawski, Ogjick PF takes at least 5 years to develop... Will never make it to the NHL IMO at least not on the fisrst two lines: Out: Ward, O'dette, Thinel, Selig, ...there is too much of them I'll go with the first or second line potential: Balej, Milroy, Perezhogin, Ferland The first three are 6', 6' and 5'11" say what you want but i see no real PF there Left is Ferland: he shouldn't be there being a 6th or 7th rounder but he improved a lot this year the knock on him is his skating. On left side, Zednik, Kilger, Bulis, Hossa are all young and will be in their prime in 5 years not counting Chouinard, Larrivée, Lambert with good size as well.

Perezhogin is a center or a left winger from what I have read.

Perezhogin is a center or a left winger from what I have read. Yeah, me too but that didn't influence my point so i left it at that

and Hossa can play the right side(did it in training camp with Ribeiro and Kilger).
So this is how I breakdown our top prospects:
centers: Ribeiro Plekanec Higgins
left wingers: Hossa(with the possibility of playing RW) Perezhogin Chouinard Larivée(isn't he a center as well?) Lambert(young though)
right wingers: Balej Milroy Ward Ferland
Damn, I know I am missing someone..but who?

Perezhogin is a center or a left winger from what I have read. Well the guys at russianinsider say that Perezhogin can play either wing, but is more effective on the RW. They have seen him play, I have not.

Chouinard sucks, Larrivee is too soft but Lambert I do like. So I'd say on the RW there's Balej, Milroy, Perezhogin, Ferland (he shouldn't be there cause he was a 7th round pick??? well whats the point of picking someone if they cann't improve. Zednik was an 8th rounder, just off the top of my head, so that makes no sense, sorry) Left side, Zednik, Bulis, Kilger and prospects Hossa, Lambert.
