Canadian WJC phenom Mike Cammalleri was called up by the LA Kings today. Looks like we'll see him on Saturday. He was also the best forward on Komi's team(Michigan) last year.
If he has success(and I expect him to), it will be yet another small player in this league doing well...

sheesh PTH are the Habs the only team in the league? so if there is a trade we shouldn't talk about it because it doesn't involve the Habs? it's not like there is a ''anything non Habs that is hockey'' board on this site.
plus it does concern us because we are facing the Kings on Saturday

Just ignore PTH, he saw the subject and didn't have to read it if he didn't want to. I don't know if I'd call him a phenom yet, but he should see some success in this league in a few years. He sure looked good for Canada in the WJC...Hopefully for the Kings has turns out like fellow Wolverine Brendan Morrison. Size really doesn't have to matter if you don't let it. Guys like Fleury, Gilmour, Sullivan, Morrison, Whitney, etc. prove every night that you don't have to play small just because you're small. Then there's guys like Viktor Kozlov and Souray that sometimes forget they're bigger than most of the other guys skating around

Kozlov...sheesh what a bust. The guy was the Russian Mario One day, someone should look at the top 100 NHL scorers in one season and see how many are under 6 feet tall...I would guess everyone would be surprised...
