If Yanic didn't dissapear for about 20-30 games per year he'd be a 70-80 point player. Hell he's almost on pace for that so far(he's on pace for 61 points)
Anyone else agree? did anyone see Perreault last night?
IF the guy was a little more consistent and showed up more often he would be a very good player in this league.

That is definately his problem, he only shows up when he wants to. And it's not like at his age it is going to get any better. This dissapearing act is common among a few of our players.

Much like last years start when we won those first few games Yanic was all over the board and then disappeared. It would be great to see more consistancy but clearly this is how his carrer has gone. At least Yanic has shown up on occassion. I'd like to know where the hell the rest of the team is especially Petrov and Gilmour we can lump Audette in there as well though he hasn't played of late. I wonder if this team is as frustrated as the fans?. You see glimpses but I think overall they are plainly not good enough to play for long stretches unless the goaltender saves them time in time out. There has to be an answer on how this team can become more consistent. It has become clear the coaches don't have an answer . HFTO

I like Perreault, he does put up the points, and he is great on faceoffs, has a good wrist shot, and can setup plays, but he is bad is his own end, and doesn't tie up his man down low, which is the system they play, with the center playing down low (simple enough, but not so good for our small centers).

the soft and lazy part doesn't bother me. It's his inconsistency and his dissapearing act for 25% of the schedule...
some of your players will be soft and lazy...you just need them to be elite talent who score alot..
