did anyone notice big John scored his 300th goal last night? If Clarke Gillies can't get it in with just over 300 goals scored, can LeClair get into the HOF? I mean LeClair should be able to get to 400, maybe even 500 if he stays healthy and scores 40-50 per year for the next 4-5 years(he'd probably get to 600 if he played the Habs 10 times per year : and why is Cam Neely NOT in the hall of fame? He scored a goal at every 2 games, while Gillies scored one of every 3rd game. Thoughts?

I think LeClair has a long way to go to even be considered for the hall, but then I don't think Gilles or Federko should have gotten there either.

I think perhaps the only reason Gilles was considered is that he won four Cups. The guy played on a line with Bossey and Trottier who are Hall of Famers now and someone, somwhere in the Hall selection committee probably suggested, "...wouldn't it be nice to see the entire line in the Hall..." I could be wrong, but stranger things have happened. The Hall selection committee has proven something else IMHO. They've left the door open for just about anyone they see fit to elect in. And those people will not necessarily have to be superstars. On that note anything is possible. Big John's selection will no doubt come sometime in the future. Probably after he's potted a few more hat-tricks against us Cam Neeley was probably the best prototypical power forward of his time, if not ever (I'm biased as I think he was the best I've ever seen). I'd like to see Cam in there just on what he brought to the league. No one could touch him when he was on his game. Again, it's just my opinion. Doesn't make me right. Cheers.

If he gets in, so should Tim Kerr. So my answer is no.
