Yvon Pedneault's online RDS columnRachunek's profile:http://tsf.waymoresports.thestar.com/thestar/hockey/player.cgi?1473 another right D...but if we lose Rivet for the year we could use one.

There might be some substance to this especially if he suspects Rivet's injury to be serious.
Fingers crossed. Cheers.

I brought up Rachuneks name yesterday, since Andre does have a history of dealing with his old club.I wonder how steep the price would be? Do you think Ottawa would really trade afront line player to the Habs. I know dackell has become just that but he was fairly expendable. a starting defenceman is another story. HFTO

both would cost a ton.
Maybe Ottawa could want Garon? Prusek hasn't started a game yet and if he gets bomb in his starts they'll need a backup.

Boy I don't like the sound of moving Garon to Ottawa. Not at all. San Jose I could deal with, if I knew that Hackett was about to sign a two year extension for 1.5 each, but I don't want to see Garon turn into a fine starting goalie just up the road.
Trouble is, who else might Ottawa be interested in? I don't even think they have room for Kilger. They have puck moving defencemen coming out the wazoo, so it wouldn't be Markov. After that, I can't guess who they might be interested in. Except Hossa....

eh Good point. 5 times a year we play them. Garon would get his chance to haunt us.
