Just scored for the Blues against the Rangers
Will he finally bust out and be the player he should have been? is he just playing well because of Demitra and Mellanby? or will he just return to being bad ol' Rosie?
Discuss.

Discuss. I expect "bad ol'Rosie" to come back to earth real soon. I'll be suprised if he hits 20 goals this year, he simply doesn't have the "right stuff". To paraphrase: "If it walks like a turkey and it gobbles like a turkey, it's probably a turkey"

I have this sudden, overpowering urge to trade for him.

Discuss. I don't think Rosie is going to have any kind of "breakout" season this year, but play him with talent and he will contribute. I'm still suprised that Sather decided to draw the line with Rosie. He was very productive late last season playing with Lindros and Bure, and the Rags are extremely thin on LW. It's funny that there are now rumblings about the Rangers looking to add another forward (Chow, for instance). It will be interesting to see what the Rags have to give up to land that kind of a forward considering they could have had one for "free" in the off-season.

Rucinsky is Rucinsky, what you see is what you get, he will not "burst" nor will he "drop" or anything, at his age, he will just continue being to same player he has always been. He's an effective 2 way men with some offensive upsides that plays his best hockey when part of a system. He's got speed and a good shot but limited creativity. It's not his fault that he got wrongly pegged as a scoring machine here and was signed to an insane 3mil contract. Signed to a more reasonable contract in St-Louis, he should contribute nicely.
